Nenet suddenly stood up and removed the white cloth covering the bundle revealing what looked like two halves of a broken rifle. She fastened the two halves together with great speed and settled the gun on the top of the Kruzer's roof. She slowly adjusted the lenses on the scope to correctly magnify the distance and then pulled a long bullet from the top of the glove on her left arm. Loading the gun was a little tricky and took bit longer than she would have liked, but she had it ready to fire a moment later.
"All would do well to avoid the roof," she said loud enough for the whole group to hear, as she searched for a first good shot.

Gustav was rather put off by the whole ordeal. He was used to things going quite well where he was involved, and the circumstances were not in line with those expectations.
So he decided to stop relying on luck and start his offensive on the Cardinals. This was going to take a moment however.
While Nenet geared up to shoot things and everyone else tried to figure out how to fight back, Gustav sat and began to count the screws in the floor.
After a moment, he heard a muffled splatting sound and some yelling, as one of the Cardinals and its horse exploded.
He dropped and began to do situps.

Avroz lept from the back of the vehicle, screaming like a madman. His words were barely audible, yet he seemed to try to articulate as he tore through the vegetation to escape view of everyone but the Cardinals he had picked out from the rest of the herd, "Waaaaate, theeeey woooon't?" A bright flash of light emitted from now greatly trembling shrubbery, and Split's voice took a malevolent tone as he appeared to speak to himself. "Avroz, I need a lift."
"Oh, oh my, well, what the heck. Up up and away!" A small, slower Split was flung to the tree-tops, one leg extended pointing to the ground, the other pulled tight into him, and crashed over one of the Cardinals. The bombing not only threw the Cardinal to the ground with nothing to break the landing save his neck, but also placed his assailant on top of the mount. He snatched the syringe from his headband and, darting by another Cardinal, jabbed it into his arm. "Sweet dreams, sucker." As he sped still ahead of the Cardinal it's eyes closed slowly and it tumbled from his steed.

As the Cardinals got closer and closer to the Kruzer, the other heroes could observe as some of the riders trip and fall over themselves while bright flashes of light severly blind them. Apparently, while running away, Egakino left some surprises for the Cardinals in the form of trip-wire traps made with spare puppet strings, flash grenades and large fireworks. This completely knocks two Cardinals completely unconcious, 4 temporarily incapacitated (blind and fallen off their mounts), and a handful of others with lessened sight (unable to dodge).

Nenet spies a particularly rowdy looking Cardinal brandishing a blade and grinning as if victory was already nearly his. Suddenly a very loud noise like an explosion goes off and smoke comes pouring out of her rifle. She quickly pulled the gun open again, grabbed the empty casing out and shoved another bullet in as fast as she could just as the smoke was whisped away by the wind. She looked through the scope for confirmation and nodded.
"One less," she said as she looked at her victim. He was still clinging to the saddle, but only by luck. There was a bloody hole where a heart should have been.

Sen charged on the horse into trees nearby and out of site, drawing in two Cardinals out of view. Almost simultaniously, Avroz was drug out, by the arms, by two Cardinals. "Guys? Abuh-a- a little help here...Please? Sen!" He struggled to get to his feet but just fumbled and they slid across the ground. " A little help here would be appreciated, anybody!" He jerked his arms back and forth violently, yet the grips upon him never faltered.

Suddenly, a high-pitched, inhuman shriek rang out through the woods. The Cardinals collapsed in agony, and rolled on the ground in pain. Almost immediately afterwards, barely detectable, came a thud from inside the Kukuruznik.

Egakino, who was still out in the woods away from the Kukuruznik, tries to find a place to hide. "They'll never find me up in this tree...", says Egakino as a loud shriek suddenly rings out. "Oww! What the heliotrope is that!!!" He puts his hands onto his ears but this causes him to fall off the branch he was on and onto the forest earth. "Oooff" The jester becomes temporarily knocked out.

"Sen, I need a lift!" Avroz shouted as his darker other trampled past as his steed picked himself back up from the ground, picking him up by the collar and flinging him as far as an arm on a steed could in the direction of Egakino. "Oh, I don't know what to do, what to do," He muttered as he gave him a light slap. "Get up! Are you okay? Oh gosh, oh grief, OH! I know!" He moved a hand over Egakino. "Caire los-It never happened, now, did it? Come on, get up! Get up!" He looked t'wards Sentarran and shouted, "Return, spirit!" He called, and Sen and his mount moved ever closer, until Avroz could jump towards Sen, and they merged into the usual crazed medic in a flash of light, grasping tightly onto the steed. "Slow down! Slow down!"

Egakino gets up and shakes his head. While his eyes are still groggy he sees Avroz run off on his horse away from his position. "Wohh... I feel dizzy"
