Mind you, its not clay sculpture where we make models of 3D characters that I've been working on. The class turned from a regular sculpture class to a "conceptual" sculpture class (and its been hell...). You know, its where our project consists of random crap we find lying around and then put it together and vuala, a sculpture... But hussah!! I just finished my project last night! Woohoo!! I'll be posting up pictures soon. Until then, i posted up an old 3D version on my deviantart page. It has a description of what i was shooting for and the meanings behind what i'm making, blah blah blah, check it out. www.deviantart.com/view/29454194/ I also posted up some new 3D stuff as well, tell me what u think. www.bludrgn426.deviantart.com/gallery/speaking of new artwork, yo Al, when u gonna post up new work, eh?! ;D If i got on WoW, I'd be an orc, only because of the ideals that Thrall made. He was my favorite character, him and Cairne as well.

Evil Arthas > Good(ish) Arthas
As far as heroes go...well, I don't really know many of the names, but I love the tree-ish looking centaur that the elves have, and I love Thrall, and the Brewmaster (*squeeals all girly cuz the panda is cyuuuute*), the pit something or other that has lots of sharp teeth and a centaur-ish back end except it's evil looking, and anyone who can heal. Go me.
Jim Raynor ftw!! ;D

Jim Raynor had the coolest personality. He was like the buddy you grew up with in college. Buts thats not WC...
And did anyone check my links... that hurts yo. *tear*
Yo, I've been doing some art history research and I've found that Samwise of Blizzard's art has been greatly influenced and inspired from the art work of the renowned Frank Frazetta. Frazetta is the man who's made the look of the fantasy genre what it is today and is one of the most influential artists of the last half of the last century. In the early 80's he made a rotoscoped animated film called Fire and Ice. If you watch this movie (or research it on the web, i guess), you will find that some character designs in WC have direct links to characters of this movie. There's a character with pale skin and white hair that rules over a frozen throne, obviously this is the origin of Arthas' design. There is also a mighty warrior character who wears a cap made out of a wolf head and carries an axe, the origin of Rexxar the half orc/ogre's design. Heck, even the main hero is the basis for Heman's design. You should check it out. Frazetta's history and all that he has contributed is really intersting.

Speaking of warcraft and movies: Theres going to be a live-action warcraft movie. Im not sure I approve of live-action, but we shall see. See blizzard's website for more details.
In addition, because were on the topic of movies and blizzard, I would heart a starcraft movie. Bruce Willis as Raynor, Angelina Jolie as Kerrigan. Maybe Billy Bob Thornton as Mengsk. Some badass costumes for the protoss (balls to cgi, puppets and costumes roxxors). And that is my opinion.

Those would be great actors.
And W.T.F.
I don't believe blizzard anymore (at all, even a little) when they try to say thay "Haven't forgotten their other worlds". How long has it been since we saw a non-warcraft product?
Although, I DO want to seee some damn good gamer movies, and if anyone can do it, its Blizzard. But SC would've been better. Any news on the Halo movie? I'm information deprived at the moment, as only one computer has internet, and its joe's work computer.

Maybe I'm just dumb, but I never thought that an open-ended RPG would transfer well to movies since everyone plays it in their own way. I figure that not everyone would like what the movie portrays because maybe they like to play the game in a way other than what the movie shows, and they were probably hoping to see their style of gaming in the movie. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

Well, there's always the stories of the bigger characters in the WC universe, like Thrall, Arthas and Jaina Proudmoore.

True, true. Oh man...I hate good Arthas so much it's not even funny. I was avoiding the human campaign like the plague because I hated having to use him. Ugh...that ugly bright yellow hair and his pseudo-paladin antics.

yeah, that human campaign shocked me. It really turned my old black and white views of the WC universe upside down. It was easier when u knew that the humans were good and the orcs evil. Now everything is so complicated. But hell, that stuff makes damn good story making!
