i also just found out more details, the car was hit so hard that he was thrown from the vehicle through the windshield, he was thrown out of the car so fast that his sneakers were still inside. my friend didn't have a funeral, he was creamated, and i never got to say goodbye.

Terrible news for this week -- Former President Ronald Reagan died last weekend.

i believe they are supposed to have a national/international memorial/day of mourning for him this friday. on our graduation...*shrugs* oh well. may he rest in peace.

I think he should have died years ago when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. He was diagnosed in 1994, and by the time he died he didnt know who he was, who is wife was, or that he had been president of the USA for 8 years...I think its sad...of all the ways to die...

I dont think Reagan was a good president, but no one deserves to die (Except, in some cases, Bush). He tried to make a super laser death star thing that would blow up nukes. Also, did I mention he wanted starfighters too?!

Over here in Massachusetts, some guys are PLANNING car crashes so they can collect insurance! Its in the town next door, Lawrence! A grandma died because of this!

Why are people opposed to anti-missile systems? I'm just curious... there was a large outcry against them, for some reason. I don't see a downside...

As for the spacebased weapons, I think we'll need them someday, but not yet. UN has a rule now, though, that says no weapons are allowed in space.

And about the insurance fraud, there supposedly doing a big crackdown on it here in NJ, although I personally havn't noticed any changes.

I think Dan was talking more like euthanasia, willingly dieing because you have an incureable or extremely dehabilitating disease, ie alzhiemers, rather than murder or just plain dieing.

Also, (not to start a fight, just adding my opinion)how can you really know if he was a good president or not, when he was before you were born? I think getting info from textbooks or whereever is a lot different than actually experienceing the presidency.

But alas, all i bring is more news of death -- Last week Craig's Grandmother died, and a day before our graduation Ray Charles, the great blind, black musician died. Man, everyone is dying...
