Oh! Speaking of that, I joined deviant art the other day, because I found out Jon was on it, and I have been trying to get in touch with him for forever. I put a few random things on it so they don't um, ban me for inactivity or whatever (I don't know how it works so, you know)
I saw your stuff and Al's stuff, and a few other people's I remembered.

oh, u mean Squirrel Boy? Yea, that's the only way I've been able to contact him over the past few years. His girlfriend is also on there. They're always sending each other love notes on the site. Such a cute couple.

Yes actually, finding Jon's girlfriend was how I found Jon (her profile had a link to his). I remember hanging out with them before they started going out...  Anyway, my profile name is, of course, Cobra5. I don't really have anyhting on it yet, just a few of the robots I drew. I was debating on putting a ton of my stuff on... it would be nice to have it all in one place... cobra5.deviantart.com/Oh, speaking of which- if anyone talks to Al at all, could someone ask him something for me? I was practicing my vector art and all, and I was wondering if it'd be ok with him, if I outlined and colored in some of the unfinished pictures of his that I have (specifically, that Soul Saber poster he started). I wanted to have his permission first. That's actually the original reason I went onto deviant art, but it turns out I was too late, and he no longer goes to deviant art. |

hehehe. Actually, I just contacted Al in the last 3 days or so. He's come back to deviantart, but he started up a new page to start fresh or somethin. He also just had his first foray into digital media! I be so proud (^_^) He goes by the screenname Paperfiasco. I left him a message there about your request. Hope he catches it in time. Here's something a little fun: A glimpse into the business of...  I took these photos while walking around the town of Bloomfield. On this same street you can find a Life Insurance office and a Funeral Home. However, the Life Insurance building looks more run down (actually, it used to look worse, but apparently they renovated a bit) and old and covered in the shadows of trees and the Funeral Home looks very well kept with bright flowers in the front and a bright paint job. Makes ya think a little, heh. |

That is pretty neat, when I first looked at the picture (before I read the post) I was thinking "uh Francis, I think you got the pictures backwards. . "  But yeah, a bit of irony before my morning class sounds good to me! |

good stuff. as per usual. You've really taken in that Digital format eh.
Honestly though, excellent work. The V piece and the Halloween piece in particular are quite well spoken for- and of course your dabbling into photography has proven terrific.
I for one have note done anything for myself in a while...been too busy on final demo reel for animation that drawing for anything else is problematic. Although, just to add, i'll be holding myself back a quarter here at the AI...to give myself an extra 3 months to develop my reel. I'll actually wind up graduating in March.
Go figure.
