Joe's comp has no speakers? Then how come I always hear gunshots when he plays his fps war game? They just broke.

I'm so happy. I finally got to see Memoirs of a Geisha. I loved the book so much, and the movie was awesome too. There's one part that I wish they had put into the movie though: when Chiyo secretly gets back at Hatsumomo's bitchiness by putting bird poop into her white face paint.

Love stories ruin movies.
Anyone going to see The Omen? It looks good.

Oh HO! I knew someone would eventually bring up the love story aspect. Well, I can honestly say that this is the kind of love story a guy could tolerate because it is not an entirely happy ending. Geisha can't get married or even really be in love, and the majority of the "love story" is just Sayuri wishing she could talk to the man she likes, but she's never able to because his business partner is interested in her so he gets first pick, so to speak. Not gonna see Omen. Can't do scary movies. Although, my sister was just watching When A Stranger Calls, and I was watching it a little while writing an English paper, and it didn't really scare me too much. It could have been because I was making fun of it so much. White girls are so dumb in horror films... Their cars never start, they trip and fall when running from bad guys, they drop the flashlight or something else important, and they always go to the dangerous places to check and make sure there's no danger there. Dumb...

I've always been annoyed when everyone's afraid of something in a movie, especially this one guy it's my birthday, so he goes to see what it was. What kind of an idiot would you have to be?
Satan's in the house. I heard a noise from the kitchen. Let's see if he's in there.

What I liked most about Memoirs of a Geisha is that it showed the great care that Geishas take in learning their skills and stuff. They're just as dedicated to their arts as Samurai are dedicated to swordsmanship. Bah, The Omen looks like yet another crappy anti-christ horror movie. At least there doesn't seem to be a teen rave in it... And release date 6-6-06? What a gimmick. The girl in When a Stranger Calls is HOT...

The pillows that geisha have to use after they do their hair up all fancy look like they would be so incredibly painful to sleep on. Yeah, the whole 6/6/06 thing is lame. It's almost as if people are forgetting there was a June 6th in the year 6, which would have made it 6/6/6.

I thought it was an interesting idea.
It made me not want to get out of bed today. Like:
"Should I get out of bed today?" "No."
But I have that conversation with myself every day, so maybe 6/6/06 had nothing to do with it.
And also, yes, The Omen is "just another anti-christ horror movie" because its a remake of the original anti-christ horror movie. I wouldn't mind seeing it... I'm not too into horror movies, but some of them (Especially those religious theemed ones) can have some pretty good imagery.

Yeah...for some reason it's always the religious themed horror movies that seem most interesting...dunno why. I can't stand scary movies because I'm too much of a wuss, but previews for religious themed movies always interest me anyway.

Yeah, the whole 6/6/06 thing is lame. It's almost as if people are forgetting there was a June 6th in the year 6, which would have made it 6/6/6. Or that we have a 6/6/06 every 100 years... Or that we already had a year 666... Or that the bible mentions 666, not as a date, but as a mark on peoples' foreheads/hands...
