yep...i'm on finals...here's the grand mother of all my finals- an animation piece of a minimum of 10 seconds that must have the following: -full and correct lip-sync, with a dialogue of your choice -acting during the dialogue ie: moving arms, no still shots of talking heads, characters must be expressive -needs at least one character -must have three layers of animation (which is really hard to pull on paper, and harder to see when transferred) -must include special effect animations ie: rain, explosions, smoke, etc -must have a fully drawn and detailed background -must have at least two camera perspective changes using the field guide grid
all of it to be done in two weeks, with only one thing to be done on computer...editing your audio...everything else is done on paper and pencil test machines...shot on ones and filmed at 24fps
as for shots...whooo...I don't remember having to do that...i'm guessing all us here at the AI are diseased...

I royally hate needles of any sort. I had to get blood taken recently. The nurse broke the vein in my left arm so she had to start all over again in the right arm. I was hyperventillating and getting extremely dizzy. It was one of those 12 hour fast deals. I had no blood sugar!

Yeah, it's kind of like she stabbed all the way through it. I knew it happened too because I was fine and then it suddenly hurt a little for a second, and then she's all "Oh man. Your vein just collapsed. That's not right. You might have (insert random disease, disorder, or syndrome)." Because nurses obviously never fuck up while messing with sharp objects.

I see your finally online, Adam. Lucky you... I still dont have internet on my computer... And with all this talk of buying an expensive wireless card and then installing it (which i have no idea how to do on my G5 since the monitor shows no screws) I dont think It'll be anytime soon... Luckily, with all these computer labs with internet, I'll survive. It'll be just like the beginning of last year... *tear*

The entire campus of the college I'm going to is wireless. And they also give all of their full-time students a laptop for however long they're in college. It's pretty cool.

NO!! WIRELESS IS THE ENEMY!! GAAAA! Dont listen to their happy tales of "connecting wherever you want." Its LIES, ALL LIES! *collapses on floor, silently weeping* . . . the terror. . .

I'm feeling the pain too... First of all, those wireless cards are dang expensive (the least amount of $60 may not be a lot in the long run, but to a college budget it is!). Second, what is true is that they only have a limited range of connection. And another, if I'm paying a friggin tuition already, why the frell do I still have to go out of my way to go to an apple store and shell out more cold hard cash?! WHY!!!! WHY!!! !?!?

i'm happy with my wireless...the card comes with the iBook, sure it may fluctuate in strength and speed every so often; but it does get the job done
as for the money Bug...i've been asking the same thing since I started...
