I mean, yes, it is kinda bewildering to know that you are seeing the surface of an alien world, on which no human has ever stepped, millions of millions of miles away... but it's still just a flickery red dot. What are you talking about? I went there, you sponsored my trip. We eradicated some aliens. I like milky way bars.

He's confused cus you said "gassy giant". Isn't Uranus a planet, and not a ball of gas? I saw Mars. Interesting. Its actually brighter than the north star

Wait, that was mars? What the hell?... I thought you guys were going to Venus...? Yah, somebody wanted more money put into the "Giant Ray of Death", so we cut back and went to Mars, it was closer.

actully there are alot of star that are brighter then the north star. even though its one of the closest stars, others look brighter becuase their bigger and just brighter and stuff. so the brightest star that you see in the sky isnt always going to turn out to be the north star. sorry, astrology is one of the things that intrests me, constelations and stars and stuff

I think you mean astronomy, cass? Astrology is all that mystical stuff, like zodiac and birthdays.
Now, common, you'll admit we really need that Death ray. What if we get attacked? What if there is a giant something that really needs to be death-rayed? And then you'll be like, "I'm really glad we cut off funding on the venus trip and went to mars instead so we could build the Giant ray of Death and fight off these attacks and/or death-ray that giant thing that needs to be death-rayed".
And no-one mock my style of naming projects. "Giant Ray of Death" is straightfoward, and much easier to remeber then "Servokinetic anti-lifeforce field induction array". Besides, if you think it is a dumb name, in hitchiker's guide to the galaxy, everyone uses guns called, quite simply, "Kill-o-zap" (Which is the only reason I didn't use that particular name... it's much more stylish...).
