(I dunnno... I noticed how Palla writes things like a novel, giving details like how her characters feel and other minute, tiny details but... I dunno, I kinda like it like that. Amazingly, I don't get bored reading it all.
Although, I agree that we can't add too many more charaters. It's ok if you mention people that we've never heard of before, hundreds if you want, as long as none of them become steady, reoccuring characters that actually play a part in the story. Because then we don't have to keep track of them, you do.)

(occ: I think I have, maybe, 3 characters that are definitely steady characters. Isaac isn't mine, so he doesn't count. Other than that, there are Palla, Sierra, and Jax, possibly Sita and Jonas. 3-5 people shouldn't be too many, right?)

5 is stessing the limit. 4 Is average, it seems. 3 is ok, 2 is cool too.
Anyone who has only 1 character is, by far, the best RPer I've ever met in my whole life. In fact, anyone who has only 1 character must be the best person at everything in the whole wide world!!

(I was just kidding. Having that many is fine, but no more then 5.
About the whole only having one thing...it was a joke. I'm the only person with one character...get it? ;D Well actually, we havn't heard much from Agrithno or Krath recently, maybe tassatul has only one... ;D)

(ooc: Theyre just a-hanging around, Cobra ;D It got kinda annoying to remember where and what everyone was doing; I'm concentrating more on Tassatul now. Anywho, the androids are masters of science and technology,(the reason the pop-ups enslaved them) they just dont get out much, which is why they're so gullible)
*Tassatul and his android guide walk to a small room near the back of the complex. Inside is the supercomputer*
'This is our best computer creation yet. It holds all information regarding the pop-ups an the many races under their control'
Many races under their control?! What?!
'Thank you. I will call if I need further assistance' says Tassatul.
*The android walks out, and Tassatul begins accessing the computer*
'Confiscated weapons. . .ah-ha! 4th sub-floor, section B. Exits. . .here. Now to do some research about those pop-ups'
*Tassatul comes across some propaganda involving the pop-up enslavement project*
"The Hrenjkol Regime has been in power for many generations. . .Now is the time to strike! The Jopaki Androids have been improving our ships for decades. . .bugs nearly under our control! . . . Sandilko legions ready for battle. . . Soon, many more races can fall to our wrath. . . great god Kanhu demands our cleansing of the galaxy. . .We cannot be denied our destiny. . .Now is the time! Sahbny nu traknolj!"
(ooc: As long as he's available, should Tassatul find some crucial weakness in the pop-up fleets? Or would that be making it too easy to defeat them? Opinions welcome. . .)

(Hehe, could prove interesting! There is some cucial weaknesses, but we're still facing a full, racial empire here! Hehe, that could be fun... Can a group of mis-fits and Military iregulars really bring down an entire empire!? Stay tooned, folks ;D)

I think my style is fine and it works, and the length of my post shouldn't matter. Though you apologized for your long post, it doesn't matter about long or short. If you wrote a long post, then so can I.) Heather, you are so chemically imbalanced. I wasn't trying to insult you in my last post but now u're pushing me. i just thought you could use a little improving, thats all. Dont you remember me yelling at Dan for posting such looooonnng posts? Aparently someone doesn't learn from past history. And in all the pages of this rpg I have only posted 1 long post for story telling. If you paid any attention, you would have noticed that. And i never promoted long posts! You on the other hand are starting to create long posts, so before you pull a Dan, I'm trying to warn you before i get irritated by it. But do i get any gratitude? Noooooooo. And who the heck said i didn't like your rping style? Did i say it? Noooooo. If you read my post (which wouldn't be so hard cus its nice and short and to the point) closely, you would have noticed that i didn't say that i didn't like it. So where the heck did you get that idea huh? HUH?! And didn't i get into the argument of why i didn't like long posts a long time ago? ITS FREAKIN COMMON COURTESY! I don't have time to read such long posts. So unless you want me to stay interested in what your characters are doing, keep 'em short! Otherwise i'm just gonna skip over them and not waste my time reading them. Remember that quote from way back - "Just like a girls skirt: long enough to cover everything, but short enough to be kept interesting" (ooc: im not flamming, im trying to being constructive here if you can't tell... (occ: Your opinion or not, I like writing my posts long like that. It gives an opportunity for people to see how the characters are feeling, rather than just seeing what they are doing.)

(occ: okay then. back to palla and the crew)
"Uh, Chief? Could you possibly land this thing before we die?"
As the words left Sierra's mouth, the small ship was racked by yet another bombardment.
"Sierra's Stallion to Time's Fabric. Come on guys, open up!"
From their cockpit view, the three passengers see the side port of the ship opening.
"I'm gonna try and get in there before the bugs can figure out a way to get in ahead of us!" Palla shouted as she fiddled with the controls. Sheesh, how I wish I had the Apocalypse as my ship!
"If we shoot forward now, we can make it in safely."
"Then let's do it!"
The small fighter shoots forwards and through the opening in the ship.
"Close the hatch, now!"
As the door closed behind them, Palla punched the button the released the ship's door. Jumping out, she ran for the door to the main corridor, ignoring the mechanics that called out to their captain.
"Somebody find me Jonas and Sita. Tell them we have a battle going on outside and have to ready the fighters."
The sound system crackles to life.
All soldiers to your fighters. The enemy has attacked our ship and that of our allies. Prepare for battle!

(ooc: i dont mean to re-open a festering wound or anything, but long posts do get a little tedious after a while. now and then its ok, but i really dont like to stare at computer screens for too long. hurts my little brain. i mean i cant say im not guilty of it, but i try to leave out minute details. i guess it does give more character, but this is a role playing thread, not a novel.
i dont mean to be offensive or anything, palla, but sometimes i just skim through your posts, reading only whats it quotes or asteriks (sp?). i mean, writing is your thing, if you like writing big, go for it, im not stopping you, but im just saying i dont read all of it sometimes. but other people do, so its not in vain, dont worry! ;D)
