(occ: Dan has given me permission to use Isaac; in other words, to control his action. I did check with on this with him Friday night, so it is all taken care of.)
Isaac stared at Palla for what seemed a long, drawn out minute.
”If we can get the Sphere up and running, we got a good chance of taking out those bugs, but only if we get it.”
Palla nodded her head in the direction of the south side hangar.
”Go get it then.” She turned to Jonas. "Power up the main guns. We're going bug hunting."

Trance: the way things are going now, this battle will never end... theres just too many of them! Katt: agreed, we have to do something. *katt ponders for a minute* maybe if we... Radar tech: uh sir... sir? something strange is happening... the bugs, they're... Katt: they're what? tell me! Radar tech: they're... retreating... Katt: What!?! retreating why? Trance: why on earth do you think he would know? maybe they have somewhere more important to be. Katt: like where? as far as we know there hasnt been any other attacks, and they dont have a home base or anything. Trance: how do we know? maybe tassatul and his troops found there base and they're blowing it up right now. we havent heard from him since he left, it is a possibility, you know. Katt: you dont need to try to comfort me. you know just as well as i do that thats barely possible... maybe they're just regrouping for a mass attack... Kero: i doubt it, sir. even the backups are leaving... i think that they really are retreating. Katt: *to the comm tech* run a long distance radar scan, see what some of the other bug squads are doing... Commtech: right sir. *initiates the LDRS system. after a minute, the results come up the bridges main screen. the whole bridge stares at the screen, watching all of the little pings move away from the apocalypse* i think the Lieutenant is right, they really are retreating... but why? Katt: i guess well just ahve to wait and see... call back all of the ships. lets get them repaired, take advantage of this little break. i want to know what the bugs are doing, so send out a squad of scouts too. have half scout the area for a surprise attack, and the other half follow the bugs. *Vale enters the bridge and approaches Katt*Vale: sir! you do realize that you just send a smuggler to go fight for our... Katt: Yes, i ws fully aware of what i was doing, but it doesnt matter now, the bugs retreated. Vale: they what!?! Katt: you heard me. maybe that crazy girl scared them all away... i mean she was crazy enough to sneak aboard this tin can, no? heh, i guess that means will have to have her preform some other meaningless task to pay up for the trouble she caused... but what? (ooc: i wanted that fight over, so... boom, over. i figured they could be going back to base because they heard of the intruder or something... i dunno. )

(ooc: Oy! I'm back. New colors here Yellow for action, italics for any thinking, regular for speach)
*Tassatul jogs down a hallway, searching for a way out. He comes to a spot and stops, and opens the fluid doors. Inside is a huge hanger, with hundreds of pop-up fighters*
Time to go!
*Tassatul walks up to the nearest fighter and jumps in. The controlls looks odd, but not unintelligable. Punching buttons, Tassatul manages to lift the ship from the ground*
Alright, we're getting somewhere. .
*Suddenly, the ship dissapears. Meanwhile, back at the Nexi Compound*
'Get a scouting ship out and search the area. I need more information. We've got to find Tassatul, or the Patriarch will have my head!' orders Krath to a young warrior.
'Sir, we have a contact just outside the Nexi. Could be a lone pop-up'

Aboard the Time's Fabric.
"Uh, Captain," a miscellanious soldier says. "The bugs are gone!"
"WHAT??" Palla runs up to the radar station and examines the screen. Sure enough, the screen in completely clear of enemy beings. "What is going on here?"
"We received a message from one of the people aboard the Apocalypse. They say the bugs suddenly started retreating with no reason apparent to them. Ma'am, what would you wish of us?"
Palla stared around her, flabbergasted. This was singularly the most confusing thing that had happened to her in the past twenty-four hours. Shrugging, she turned to the remaining crew.
"Call back the fighters; alert them to the situation. I have to contact Vale and inquire as to what the heck we're supposed to do now."
I wonder what they'll end up doing with us now. Even if we had the manpower, there was no way we could run from them. That would be stupid, anyway. Will they still give us civilian rights? It's not like it's our fault that the bugs retreated.
Inwardly worried, Palla showed no fear as she approached the main communication console.
"This is Palla, captain of the Time's Fabric calling into the Apocalypse, requesting further instructions. The enemy has fled and we await your orders."
