Maybe something completely new? The other ideas are good, but kinda repetative. Something new, like, a war starts, the group picks sides, or some new sentient lifeform shows up and starts annihilating planets. I dunno, just something new and different

I was also tinkering with ideas for a whole new RPG. It was going to be diferent then the others in the sense that it had a 'main character', which the storyline revolves around. The other characters would play very important parts, as well, of course.
This would, however, require someone who's not the main character to develop the storyline and move it along. The ideal person for this job would have to be able to develop a storyline beforehand, using the characters others create. Also, while the story may be linear, remeber to be open to the players, perhaps leaving room for them to find their own solutions to problems, and being able to deal with players going out of the planed storyline, and creating a new 'branch' on the go. They would also have to work closely with me, because the universe will most likely be created by me (we all know that's my specialty ;D). Posting frequently is a plus, but not a requirement.
The main character would have to post a lot. This person would also have to be a very good RPer, know how to notice, follow, and understand leads from a GM, and would have to be good at not powerplaying. They would also not have to be an atention hog- the main character is almost cirtainly going to be "Especially Unique", and that means the player is going to have to deal with that.
Personally, I would feel comfortable being the main character. I believe I post frequently enough, even with me being grounded. Also, if you haven't noticed, I am by no means an atention hog- all of my characters are other normal people (GTA and SoulSaber), or have unique parts but call no attention to them (BugHunting) I would be able to devolp a storyline if needed, but I would rather not. I want to play under someone elses storyline for a change.
I only have a basic idea right now, and I know this isn't really the thread to discuss it in, but it just kind popped up.

You know, I would be a good candidate...for whatever. And I'm on all the time and very trustworthy. But i dont know if time would be on my side at all times... so I'll just go with the flow with whatever you decide.

I'd like to be the main character. If I were able to take the time to perfect a storyline, then I know it would be good.

And... well... I dunno if you would be the best choice for a main character... no offense intended... It dosn't suit your strengths.

Well, anyone who's not the main character would probably work together with eachother to create the storyline.
And remeber as well, heather, that every member is invited to create their own RPG, with or without help.

HOw bout, it's set in the modern day, and people are born with magic, and its a phonomnon and magic starts making a reocurence.
