((For all anyone knows in character, that trap vaporized my body.
And it wasn't being cocky, it was the way he was trained. I suppose only people who have played D&D would really understand why. But I think I explained it before, you know.))

But Tanyu got a short vision to you while meditating and then told everyone. So now they know u're still alive somewhere. But we wont be able to do anything about it until after we get fixed up at the town and Kal (if Dan would allow, or come back for that matter) makes a better vision to find out exactly where you are. Weren't you payin attention?)) |

Kaluth is traveling behind everyone, he suddendly hears something...a high-pitched whining noise...he thinks its an enemy approaching, but then the scream, if thats what it is, growes louder.
kaluth glances about, by now everyone can hear it and is not quite sure what it is.
Tanyu, being one of the most alert, along with Cobra, notice the scream first. Cobra then points to the sky. Kaluth then sees what it is. A small black dot is screamng in the sky...and after quick inspection he also notices that its rapidly accelerating towards the ground.
Kaluth prepares a spell to stop whatever it is, then he recognises the scream, its vaguely famaliar, and he lets Fighter fall to the ground.
The screaming comes to an abrupt stop.
THUD!!
Fighter then pushes himslef up, shakes his head, and stands.
Fighter: "hey guys!"
Kaluth: "Um...yeah...I guess I havent seen it all..."
((there, your back, ok? lets continue))

*After falling to the ground a few hundred feet, he lies on the ground for about two seconds before getting up and dusting himself off. He gets up to see that he's with those guys again.*

*Then, he answers fighter*"Well.. we fought a demon... found some tresure. A lot of gold, a few weapons, some magic jewlery." *Will sudenly remembers the sword he found.*"That reminds me! The demon left this jammed in to my chest.  " *After a moment of searching through his many packs, Will pulls the strange hilt out. After a moment, energy sundenly jumps from the blade, forming in a long, large, deep blue blade.*"This was the sword the demon was using. *He laughs a little* I would assume it's magic, seeing as it's--" *He sudenly yelps and drops the sword to the ground. The blade disapears, and the hilt just lies there. Will looks a little shaken up.*"I think...It...It... Just moved around... in my hand..." |

*Tass looks at Fighter in wonder. He just fell from an indefinate distance, yet he got up like nothing happened. He didn't even seem to notice that hes been missing for a couple days*
*Will remembers the sword he found, brings it out, and just as suddenly drops it*
"I think...It...It... Just moved around... in my hand..."
Tass responds:"It moved? How so?"
*Tass looks at Kaluth questioningly*

((ooc: I know what picture you're talkin about. It was in the Starcraft manual. No, we're not talking about a "blade" blade. We're talkin about an "energy" blade. And I'm guessing that the other dimension didn't like Fighter and just spit him out of a portal 500 feet in the sky, lol. And why would he be missing for a couple of days. I pictured that this whole dungeon romp through the Demon's lair took us only one day. And hey, what were the other chapters?  Was chapter two called "The Demon's Lair"? ;D And Dan, you really have a knack for jumping the gun, dont you)) Tanyu: (in response to Will's outcry) "Thats a very strange piece. My old master told me that weapons owned and used by demons or ones that at one time killed you are bad luck. Maybe it isn't a good idea to keep it with you. Maybe there's a priest in the town that could channel the evil spirits away" |

*Will, being a westerner, pays little attention to Tanyu's warnings.*
*...but... just in case... when they head back to town... may as well...
...Will shifts uneasily.*
*Will nervosly picks the sword back up. Again a blue blade jumps out from it, and again it begins moving in his hand*
"Ew...ew...ew... It feels really gross..."
*Will opens his hand to see the sword... some of the others crowd around to look as well, being carful to avoid the blade, which seems to be getting bigger.*
*The handle is made out of... what apears to be... tightly woven wood. Almost looking like a wicker basket or something. All the strands of wood are shifting and uncurling... all in all, the handle is getting longer.*
*Everyone watches untill it stops. When it finishes, couldn't be more then a full minute, the hilt is long enough for a two handed sword, and the blade is as long as a two handed sword as well.*
