The first one I played; I mean, REALLY played; was the remake of Res Evil 1 for GC. THAT kicked soo much ass.
Of course, I only play it in the perfect enviroment. Home alone, no lights on, 10:30 at night... oh yes. Nearly pissed my pants when I saw a zombie come back to life after I killed it. ;D good stuff that is

Dang, that is good stuff. I would like to see that version too. I only recently saw the original, and i was like "wow... " we've come so far. In the original they had cheesy actors and i was laughing like crazy when they were doing the sequence of introducing the characters. They were like posing in true cheesy 80's movie fashion lol. And that intro movie where they got attacked by zombie dogs - they used manicans when they shot them and you could really tell. The remake is such an improvement, i tell ya... But i was also looking at the controls. They were soooooo simple back then.

Silent hill 2. Ahhh... It's like resident evil, but less shooting, and a LOT more scary. a LOT. But less shooting. But man, this is more scary then most horror movies I've seen... Here's a rundown of the story... It's about a guy, and his wife died. She had a horable diesease, which caused her to suffer for years, and made her horably disfigured. a while after she dies, he gets a letter from her. She said, "She'd be waiting there". He know's where "There" is, Silent Hill, a small vacation town where he promised he would take her when she got better. He goes there. And from there things spiral downwards, and you find that the town isn't really what it seems. It releases the demons inside a person, to torment them and punish them for what they've done, untill either they make up for it, or suffer the punishment. You have to fight demons. The demons change to fit the person's fears and sins. The main character was always afraid of his wife in the hospital, for example, so his demons are things like gory, injured people in straight jackets, or horably mutalated nurses. However, you meet some other people in the town, and they have demons of thier on. One in particular is a woman who killed her father because he would torture her: Her demons are misfigured versions of her father. Also, you meet a young girl who has no inner demons, and so, the monsters never touch, or even see her. Also, there are two demons that arn't like the normal demons. There were two exicutioners form the older time in this town that were so evil and sadistic Hell wouldn't even keep them. They come here instead, as "Pyrmid head". There are two of them. They each have two weapons- A massive spear, or a HUGE, buster sword (Think Auron from FF10. Yes, that big.) Now, the main character isn't a cop, or a soldier, or anything like that, so he dosn't have any guns or weapons to start with. Also, This is supposed to be a normal town, so there isn't exactly a minigun lying around. The first weapon you get is a wooden plank with a nail jutting out of it. You can find a metal pipe with a sharpened edge. You get handgun, but bullets are pretty rare. A Hunting rifle is the strongest gun you get, but bullets are really, really rare. You can find a chainsaw, but it's a secert weapon. You can also find Pyrmid Head's torture chamber, and inside he left his giant sword lying around... that's fun to use. Here's some of the monsters:

Sorry for the double post, but I just found out some new gaming information. Metal gear solid 3 has been anounced. They already have screenshots and everything. It's called metal gear solid 3: Snake eater. It takes place in a jungle, it looks like. Here's a bunch of screenshots in a single zip: here.

I already know about Metal Gear Solid 3. Its all over G4. Everything new is covered in G4.
But what the hell are those monsters?! I understand the ones that look like they're in game screenshots, but the other ones look like sculptures...

The first one is a person melded and slamed in to a door. It's called a "Doorman", but it is actually a demented version of the women's father.
The second one is a person who has a straight jacket on.../ but the straightjacket is pulled up and covers up over his head, not only twisting his body, but strangleing him.
The two in game scenes: A monster nurse, and a Straight jacket demon.
And that last one is, in the game, one of the scariest. It's a manequin: A normal dummy model. However, it is cut off at the trose, and another pair of legs is attached instead. So it's a body with two lower halfs, but no upper torso.

Dude, you gotta let me see it some time. I've heard so much about it.
And is that what those monsters look like in the game? They look like brass or copper sculptures...

Yeah, actually, they do. They're supposed to. They're all covered in gore, and they're slimey so they shine a little. It's creepy looking when you see them move around. Unfortanly we let our aunt borrow the game, and our cousine has it right now. Me might never get it back...
