Heh. My estimate was a guess, although I do have a scale sheet, and I WOULD be able to see about how big it is with a ruler.
Hmm...This is some interesting informations. I'm gonna do I little bit more work on this.
Get back to you about this soon ;D. And you can make the Lavithens as big or as small as you want, I mean, I would hate to crash your fun ;D

i re-read your ship discriptions and i dont see anything wrong with them. glad we got that settled without any blood shed ;D. i guess that woul make the Apocalypse abot 9 or 10 miles. miles are still really big, but then again this is space were talking about, not the earth, so its logical that everything would be alot bigger.

If your home was attacked by bugs, that must have been caused by a hunt that failed to be self contained, like the one in the rpg. This usually happens because a Queen was accidentally sent to a planet, causing much chaos. Without a Queen, the bugs are unorganized

Since you guys have been wondering alot about the size of ships and things, here's some basic size-classes:
Fighter: A small, usually one-manned ship. (Examples: X-Wings or T.I.E. Fighters, An F-16, The Cobra's Fang)
Sub-Corvette: Either a very large fighter, or a corvette that has only one crew member.
Corvette: A larger ship. Normally dosn't have any docks. Has a crew of around 2-5 (The Outlaw star, The milenium Falcon, The BeBop is a large Corvette)
Frigate: Frigates are even larger. Crews are normally in the 10's to the 50's (The blockade runner at the begging of star-wars would be a frigate. The Fukan's kukuhuki...or whatever palla's ship is called...is a Frigate)
Capital Ship: A very large ship, normally with over 100 crew. (A Star destroyer, A Carrier or Battlecriuser from Star craft)
Super-Capital Ship: Very, very large ships. Crews from 1000-5000, sometimes more. (The SSD Executor, The Apocolypse)

oooh, ok, not bad, not bad. That would mean that my starship the 'Hunting Star' is a large Corvette . Groovy, dude. Maybe I'll give my clan some small to medium sized frigates later. (you got the class sizes from Homeworld, didn't you)

No, actually the class sizes are from Chronoshifter ;D
The ones from Homeworld are: Micro-ship (Leeches, Setinals) Fighter (Alcolytes) Corvette (Various Corvettes) Capital Ship (Frigates) Super-Capital Ship (Carriers, Dreadnaughts) Ultra-Capital Ship (The Kuun-Lan)

Yeah! Celebration, I say! And you have to smash a bottle of champane against the ships nose, 'cause you just re-Christened it.

Ok, here's something I scanned in before my scanner broke. It's the scaleing chart from Chronoshifter, so you can see both how well I draw and some of the sizes I see ships as. Also, the Biggest ship on this paper is the Apocolypse II (Scs-GD7-2) so you can see what that looks like, although I'm going to be making it much bigger on my next scale chart.
