Yes, but no teacher will yell and almost give you a detention for politly stateing how you feel. No matter how mean. Otherwise they would not be teachers, period.

Why do you assume that all teachers are the pure and pristine idols that you are portraying them as? Not everyone is perfect; I know I'm not. Some teachers deserve our respect, but not all of them.

It seems to me that you and Will are portraying teachers as never being wrong, and that the students are unable to badmouth them without it being the truth. Yes, I said my teacher was awful and not one partial to the opinions of other. This was true. Is it so hard to believe that one hired by the Hills educational system would be less than qualified?

Oh? You said your teacher was awful, and then you acted surprised when they took offense to that? No wonder... There is a diference between "Voicing your oppinion" and "Putting someone down". "I don't like this assignment", the worst you would hear from a teacher is "Do it anyway". "This assignment sucks" and of course they're gonna yell at you... Like, you yell at bughunter when he says that your stuff sucks. You don't expect your teachers to do the same? |

I enjoy school on the whole. The hour long lunch contributes to most of that, but I acctually enjoy most of my classes.
And the whole teacher thing...well I personally think that yes, many teachers are mean, but EVERYBODY knows who the mean ones are and who the good ones are, especially if your not a freshman, and everybody, I dont care how stupid or insane they are, knows how to be nice, at least put on a SHOW of being nice, to a teacher. So, if they get introble, it is their own bleedin stupidity that got them in trouble.
And when it comes to speeking your opinion, I am for that 100 percent.
I dont know if any of you are reading a book thiss summer called "speak" (you should, its very good, and short) but in that book a teacher starts a debate in the class, and when the debate starts going AGAINST his opinion, he ends it, and a student says "look, you opened a debate to the class, you cant just end it because it is not going the way you want it too, everybody, no matter what age or race or status, has a right to voice their opinions". Then the teacher kicked the kid out of the room, and then a HUGE ruccus was started...thats something that I would do..infact I have done that in the past...infact the first detention I got, EVER was because I prooved a teacher wrong...well thats not quite the same thing but..ya know what I mean.
