What's the farthest anyone has ever flown? I would think Cass would say Australia, but I could be wrong.

It's the "as far as I know" part that frightens me.

farthest i've ever gone has been Indonesia...it's almost the same amount of time- just a wee bit lesser
I must've been around ...2-3 yrs. old and later again around 7-8 yrs. old...I had toys back then to play with...I stayed up for the majority of it or so mom says...
but altogether...i've had to go to three places by plane- Indonesia (twice), and Grandmother's (once to South Carolina, once to Michigan)
places I wish I got souvenirs at: Brussels, Tokyo, Hawaii, and L.A. (I didn't get to buy anything from any one of them)
places by car...Michigan, Ohio, Massachusetts, Maryland, P.A, N.Y. (although those last two don't really count do they...), and South Carolina. -used a rental to get to Michigan, Ohio, and Mass.
big cities: Brussels, Tokyo, Hawaii, Jakarta (and a whole handful of big cities in Indonesia), N.Y.C, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, L.A., Washington D.C., Baltimore, Atlantic City, Philadelphia, and Myrtle Beach.
total times we've moved and changed our official residency: several
I like traveling ;D

Er... I am equally perplexed...
And I win out over both of you (cass and al) for the longest rips. Twenty hours? Pah. Try a six month flight to the moon. Ugh, not to mention the horable turbulance on take off, and how everything was so... floaty. And the food was mush that came in these little foil pouches. And we had to wear theese goofy jumpsuits.

Well, Will Saturn is alot farther than the moon. I am not sure how long it was in Earth's Standard Time, but it was 3 months in Saturn time. That not exactly an easy trip, either. But I trust Spaceships over these Earth vehicles any day.

Actually about that pathetic earth technology...
"...a time when surface vehicles on Earth burned fossil fuels. It's all hard to imagine now, of course, getting from place to place in a dangourous noisy machine with an engine that set fire to spurts of prehistoric goo. Makes one shudder."
Then they go on to describe a small black box called a radio that spews mindless mixes of music and speech... and thats how they describe the modern era in the manual of Star Control II.
