Batman was always awesome, for one main reason: he didnt have any super powers. All Bruce Wayne was was rich. Nothing else. So if i ever got reall filthy rich, i could BE Batman!

While we're on this subject... I went to the movies today and saw "Paycheck". That's off topic though- however, in the previews, there was a movie called... oh... what was it. Oh yeah... "SkyCaptain and the World of Tomorow" It was SO cool looking, and it was just like all of the things we've been talking about- this is supposed to be a 1930's style sci-fi adventure, starring "Skycaptain", a guy whoe flys around in an airplane blowing up evil robots (You HAVE to see the robots... they look so funny! But in a good way. PERFECTLY captures the feeling) Here's the main site- not much for pictures, but they have a trailer. Here |

Hmm, who's my favorite hero...? I guess I have a bunch, never really took time to narrowing the choices down. My character Tanyu is pretty cool. In X-Men, my favorite was Wolverine. Out of the Justice League, its Batman. Silver Surfer is cool. The Green Lantern is cool, the artist one, hehe. Spider-man is always cool. But no one isn't standing out in my mind right now... eh check on me later.

It's not actually taking place in the 30's, it's supposed to be Sci-fi coming from the 30's. And... For some reason, I never really liked the Green Lantern or Silver Surfer... |

I've always liked the Green Lantern for the ability to use your imagination as a weapon- I could go crazy with one their rings.
Batman, ah you must be rich of course- but don't neglect the fact that he spent all his life training, he's become something human, but more. He jumps at least 3-4 feet higher (even more when pushed), very VERY strong, incredibly smart (his detective skills are quite warranted), and overall just beyond the above average man.
SkyCaptain...hmmm...

Yea, I clicked on that link for SkyCaptain and it looks really cool -- Angelina Jolie and Gwenith(sp) Paltro.... *drool* -- and sounds really cool, but I can't see the trailer because everytime i try downloading the Quicktime it messes up... sigh...

I tried that, on site- it was pretty cool!
I designed a blaster type hero, dressed him up like a modern cowboy w/cloak and revolvers, in brown and tan-I also gave him a bandit mask ala Zorro and named him "Pistoleer."
