((What you just said reminded me SO MUCH of something we are doing... I can't hold it in much longer... I'll have to ask dan if I can spring it on you guys... ;D
I think we might have to do a fastfoward or something. Everyone is really taking their time meeting up. But then again, I'm having a lot of fun listening to Tass' infection stories ;D))

*Okami went next door, Tristan following her, to the repair shop which also held their communications. Having had a similar system on her ship and also having made sure the two would connect should the need ever arise, it was not long before Okami was speaking with Sierra, the substitute captain of the Time's Fabric.*
"Yes, we've also seen these disturbing news reports," Sierra said, expressing as much concern as Tristan had shown. "We've been debating upon whether to explore on our own, or whether to stay a safe distance away."
Okami mused over this for a moment. "Tristan and I had also considered exploring this report. Perhaps it would be best if we met up and went together."
"Ma'am, will you be returning to the ship then, or shall we arrange for a pick up?"
"Okami and I," Tristan interjected, "will fly out from here and meet you in the space around Makir. How soon can you be here?"
"As soon as we account for those on board and the fighters, we can start off and be there within twelve hours."
"All right; it'll be good to see you all again."
"You too, ma'am. Over and out."
*As the comm shut down, Tristan turned to his wife.*
"You really miss them, don't you?"
*Okami's face suddenly 'deflated', looking somewhat sad.*
"I miss it all. The excitement of the chase, flying around space. As much as this might sound hateful, I'm glad things are getting worse. This gives me the perfect opportunity to rejoin the crew."
*Turning, the couple retreated to the house, each going off to their own packing task.*

((Hey thanks Will, glad you like em. Im starting to wonder what this idea of yours is. . .))
*The infestation creeped along the ship, slowly gaining control of it, adding it to its immense collective memory. The crews, too, were being captured. But the setbacks of no power was making it hard to send word of the attacks to other parts of the ship*
*In the barracks, the warriors are fighting a losing battle against the bugs*
"Hold your fire!" yells Cpt. Jorreth.
*The small remaining squad of Kaiou-Tur stop firing at the entrance to the barracks bay. A few dead bug bodies lay at the doorway, and small tendrils of flesh poke from around the corners, growing along the ship* *The warriors take time to reload and refresh themselves, waiting for the next attack that will surely come*
What the hell did Deviator do to us? Is that where all the bugs came from. . . Its like they've got a Hive somewhere on the ship. . .
*Suddenly, then next wave of bugs came. This was a much bigger swarm of bugs, and for good reason. There was a very special organism in the back. Walking on two legs. Blueish skin, where you could see it. Very similar to the Kaiou-Tur themselves, save one difference*
*It was covered in waving green tentacles*
By the Khala. .
*The squad was in complete awe, slowing their reacting times. The bugs were upon them, attacking ferociously. But not killing. No, there was a much more beneficial plan for the captured Kaiou-Tur*
*The special infested warrior sprang to the first of the pinned down men, Cpt. Jorreth himself. Extending his plethora of tenticles like a horrific Medusa, he plunged them into various parts of his body repeatedly. Screaming in terror rather than pain, Jorreth realized what this meaned. The bugs could now infest warriors on the field. As warriors fell, they added to the ranks of the bugs*
((Btw, Dan, if this isnt what you wanted for the mobile infestation let me know and i can edit/delete. ))

((Crap man, you had it down better than even I did...lol))
*The Radio Crackled*
"Sirus!!" It was Sirerra. "Listen were going to go pick up the old capt'n. We need to bring the ship into orbit around Makir, you up for commin back to the ship? Or comfortable just orbiting around it in your AFC?"
Sirus thought for a second...old capt'n? ... ... ... Oh shit. That meant Okanmi ... ... ... thats not cool. "Uh...um...I...well...yeah I think I'll come back....um...yeaaaah...open the bay one airlock for me...."
The AFC glided around using the boosters located all over its metalic body and drifted into the opening of air lock one. Three minutes later, Sirus was jumping out of the cocpit of the mecha and was running down the hall.
"Jax?" Sirus yelled. A sientist turned around...not Jax...but the scientist did point left to a door. "Thanks!" Sirus blurted out. He opened the door. "Jax!"
Jax turned, "What is it? Hey you know were going to pick up Okanmi! cool huh? I havent seen her in ages!"
Sirus looked worried, "Yeah well..I have to get off this ship man, if she sees what I've done to it she'll kill me. All these 'upgrades' and new technology...well...its not exactly the Times Fabric anymore, its like Sirus's playground...."
Jax looked a little puzzled, "What?"
Sirus accessed one of the computer terminals and typed for a few seconds. He turned the moniter to Jax. "look, this is what the Times Fabric looked like right after Okamni left..."
Jax nodded.
"This is what it lookesl ike not" Sirus pressed enter.
"woah...yeah wow...I havent seen an outside tacital layout in a while, no need to really cause there hasnt been any fighting....yeah well its not....well yeah it is that different....um...listen if they are all upgrades then she wont care right? right. Just stick with us, its not biggie."
Sirus, his mind already made up said, "Nah man I'm outta here. You guys will do better in a fight using these scientists in the bridge rather than the weapon controls guys, cause these scientists helped me make the ship what it is now....but I'm outta here. I have to go start my own ship...dont aske me where I'm going to get one from but I have to...this is nutz!! there was no room for expantion on this ship after the first year so I just kinda...added on the outside...hahahaha!!. Yeah I'll be departing in one hour, I'll head on over to Makir space station and look for a ship...at the rate I'll be flying you wont get there for another 10 hours so that will give me plenty of time...dont worry though I'll keep in touch, c ya later!!"
Sirus left before Jax could argue...

*The sudden burst of light awakened Tassatul from his slumber. The power had returned, somehow. Tass knew that it wasn't because of the engineering crew*
*Standing up to his full height, Tass was much larger than the average Kaiou-Tur. With the added bonus of infestation, he was also extremely strong. He walked to the door, and it swished open. Tass didn't notice the flesh-colored tendrils stretching all over the ships walls, or at least didn't care*
*Upon arriving at the bridge, he had an unusual greeting party. At least, unusual a few days ago. Now it didnt even phase him*
*The entire bridge crew was completely infested*

Sirus jumped into his ship. This ship was really his though, not the Times Fabric just upgraded. This ship, HIS ship, the ((Name comming soon)). It was a one man fighter / science vessle that Sirus had put so much time into he would never part wth it.
A second glance around, just one final equippment check, Books? Yeah, Info disks with bluprints? check. Moonlight Model P? Check. Thats about it....
Sirus spoke up as his ship drifted into the final air lock bay. "Ok guys, look it has been a great couple of years working with you guys..." The scientists all looked solemly thought the airlock glass, standing in the most perfect line that sirus had seen people stand in a long time, all there for him....he choked back the tears.
"I'm gonna miss you guys" Sirus managed to say...just before the final airlock opened. ....A tear ran down his cheek...
The engins flared up and the shp was gone. Sirus pushed the fighter to its full speed as fast as he could, and turned it towards the space-station that was his destination...hopefully to find some work....
Then, a thought crossed his mind....
He pulled the controls and spun the ship right around and headed straight back for the Times Fabric. He pressed a few buttons listened as the engines powered up...the onboard computer kicked in, "Hyper-Accelleration initiating in 4....3...." The Times fabric was approaching VERY quickly, but still a small dot. "...2.....1" Sirus was ontop of the frigate, and admired all of his upgrades one last time. "...initiated."
Inside the Times Fabric, Jax and Sirerra watched on the radar screen as the one man fighter simply blinked away....

((ooc: hehe, Sirus is in trouble . So anyway, about my guys, I forgot to mention that one of the four ships (not counting mine. But with the Hunting Star, I'm in a group of 5 ships) is a spawning ship. In other words, it is a ship that is used to contain a single Queen in lockdown while having her lay eggs for future hunts. Its a larger ship in comparison to the other four and also houses all the other hunters in the group that are not in action and acts like a secondary HQ (but its not as big as Katt's, and it isn't my clan's HQ) and a considerably higher rating of weapon defenses. The other four (including mine) are standard clan corvette class ships, except mine is stronger. Just wanted you all to know, or remind you. I'll probably post up a stat sheet on it on the discussion thread)) *The newbie hunt was going well. Only 5 more bugs to hunt down. Considering everything seemed alright, BugHunter finally decided to check out the events on the other side of the galaxy*BugHunter: "Hey Light-Stepper, what say you and I go check out what's going on on the other side of the galaxy?" Light-Stepper: "Sure... What for?" BugHunter: "I dunno...might be nothing, but I just want to go to assure myself" Light-Stepper: "Whatever you say" BugHunter: "Put me on with Young-Tusk" *Light-Stepper patches a line to the Swatter, the corvette class ship Young-Tusk currently occupies*Young-Tusk: "Hey boss, whats up?" BugHunter: "Tusk, we're going to check out the place which had that broadcast you showed us. You stay here and keep watch over the hunt and spawn ship, ok." Young-Tusk: "Hu...wha? Aren't you gonna take me with you? hey wai---" *BugHunter cuts him off before he can say anything else*BugHunter: "hehe. Ok Light-Stepper. Lets get two other ships to follow us and be on our way" *Just as BH commanded, Light-Stepper get two other ships to follow the hunting star and they go into hyperspace*

*Packed with such necessities as a trip around the universe would dictate, Okami and Tristan closed their shop, handed the keys to a trusted neighbor, and went out back to lift off in the fighter Okami had kept from her departure of the Time's Fabric.*
"They ought to be in orbit by now," Okami said, looking at the various mechanical devices on the control panel. "Let's head out and see what's up."
So nervous...let's hope they still respect the ole cap i tan. ;D
