Kaluth snaps his head towards Cobra, his red robes covering all of his head, but cobra can see clearly the red glowing eyes underneath the robes, and involentarially jumps back...frightened.
Kaluth to Cobra, in a low, very evil voice - "Dont be so sure...when power comes to those to dont deserve it, it can go to their head, make them...lust...for more. Dont tempt the dark arts unless you are, of course, an Ancient, for only they deserve the powers bestowed upon them by their ansestors..."
Kaluths eyes fade back to their normal color, and he turns back to the guards...

Will stands up, tall and proud, and takes a daring step towards Kal as he says that. Kaluth, without moving a muscle, without saying a word, with only pure thought puts a very vivid image in Wills mind of a glowing red staff resting on the broken corpse of...will. (this is a mere cantrip, not a spell)
Kaluth speaks to the guards.
Kaluth: "So, am I correct in assuming that there is s frontline to this battle? Or have your troops pulled back and allowed the enemy to gather its stregnth? Either way, please direct us in the appropriate direction."

*Cobra trys really hard to think a picture of himself hitting Kal with a big mallet and shooting it over to Kal's head... but it dosn't work for him, so he gives up on that idea and figures to leave the argument for a better time.*

"well this seems right up my alley. if theres a back way, or any way at all, ill garentee you that i can find it. getting in would be no problem for me, but with a whole party it gets kinda diffucult... and i doubt i can do much on my own in there. unless you guys want a distraction or for me to open up a couple of doors from the inside or something, thats always possible. i mean thats how i got me and will broke out of ja... Those with power should have more rights, perhaps...we are more powerful, are we not? But, not to this. This enemy is harming innocents and poisoning the idea of magic.

((ooc: wow, such an empowering speech, lol ;D. Game world time is approximately 2:00PM-ish  ) *The two gaurds looking over Tanyu are trying to find something to do to pass the time until the others come back from the tent*Gaurd1: "So like, how's the family?" Gaurd2: "Oh you know... same ol' same ol'" (throws a rock at a tree) "Hey, wanna spar?" Gaurd1: "Sure, why not" (takes out his sword) *As they spar, Tanyu is dreaming - In his dream everything is at peace. He is relaxing on a hill overlooking his village.
But then the sky becomes dark with ominous clouds above and it begins to rain. Lightning strikes the horizon. Strikes again. Tanyu gets up, it feels as if a great evil is approaching. Then a bright FLASH. Suddenly, the peaceful village he was looking upon begins to burn. Then screams are heard, scared, horrified cries for help. But Tanyu feels held in place, unable to move from the hill he stands upon to help his village, being forced to watch it burn. Then a loud roar. A roar of a monster, a Demon! Then a very large figure begins to step out of the corrupt flames that engulf the village. It is the Demon, the demon that destroyed Tanyu's village those many years ago. In his hand he hold's Tanyu's Teacher ((or Master, same thing, but I think I'll use Teacher from now on. That or Sensie)), all bloodied and bruised and near death. The Demon begins to speak*Demon: (in a very grizzly, evil, and angry voice; directed to Tanyu) "You...! You who dare stop me and my brother...! You can never escape us...! You will never escape us...! Even in death, we shall curse you for eternity...!!!" *The Demon then destroys Tanyu's teacher and tosses him into the wind. Then he directs his wrath towards Tanyu and continues his approach at an immense speed whilst doing an sinister roar. But right when he almost makes contact with him, Tanyu begins to wake up*Tanyu: (almost awake) "no.......no....... NOOOO!!!!" (now he's awake, covered in sweat as well) Gaurd1: "Woa hey laddy, are you alright" Gaurd2: "This one seems to have a few demons of his own" *Apparently the two Gaurds stopped sparring awhile ago since they were hovering over Tanyu by the time he woke up. They noticed something wrong with him at the first sign his dream (or nightmare) started to make him stir and cry out in the real world so they stopped what they were doing to investigate. Which then brings us back to the present*Gaurd2: "You alright?" Tanyu: (holding his head) "uuugh.... oww, my head..." Gaurd1: "Oh, that would be my fault, had to give you a little bonk on the noggin back in the Inn, sorry about that" Tanyu: "n..no... it isn't that... well it isn't just that... I have a HUGE headache... and a hangover..." Gaurd2: "Well we're not here to harm you anymore. Anything we can do?" Tanyu: "Just get me cup... and an egg..." ((ooc: Whoo, well that was fun. Basically he was having a nightmare about that Demon who destroyed his village and that the he's is still haunting him and stuff.))  |
