"Hey, we got a new mission. Sorry you had to miss the whole thing."
*Will briefs Tanyu on the situation.*

And when my creative juices start flowing, why turn off the tap? hehehe)) Tanyu: (who's still lying on the ground, nursing his head) "Woa, sounds like a real blighter. But alright, wherever you guys go, I'll go"  Guard1: (running back) "Here that cup and egg you wanted. Can't reckon what for. But alright" (hands him the goods) Tanyu: "Oh, thank you" *Tanyu pulls out a few herbs and a few other ingredients and starts work on another potion* |

((from what i understand were going to find Lordsmith in a castle right? well were stuck, so ill just move things along a bit...))
*after everyone is fully breifed and Tanyu starts to recover from his hangover, they pick up fighter from the inn make their way to Lordsmith's fortress. Katt actully seems to be a little excited about breaking into a castle. because 1 she likes castles, and 2, she finds breaking and entering to be alot of fun.
after a little while of walking through to the outskirts of town, the towers of the castle start to appear from behind the hill not to far from where they're all standing.*
"wow... look at that. its a real castle... and were even going to go inside... even if we are breaking a couple rules. isnt it neat?"

The castle looms in the distance. The 'battle' on the frontlines isnt much of a battle at all. The lords have seemed to come up with quite a unique strategy. They have closed off the area leading into the castle, and seem to be content just sitting there making sure that nobody gets out or comes in.
The tents are set up, and the sun is going down, so the fires are starting to flicker to life here and there. As the companions draw closer to the encampment, they cannot help but be seen over the open plains. A messenger is sent out towards the group to contact them.
As he draws nearer he pulls his sword from his scabbard.
"Halt! Who goes there! It should be common knowledge that this area is off limits to any commoners such as yourselvs! State your Business!" Says the Messenger
Kaluth to Messenger: "You assume too much lowly messenger, we are not mere commoners, out of our way, and send word to your commender that Kaluth, of the High Mages Council has arrived."
The messenger quickly puts his sword back in his scabbard and stutters for an apology, "Oh please, forgive me, I didnt know!! Yes I will send your message, please come on down!"
Kaluth turns to the group. "With so little cover in these fields, it is diffucult to provide cover for a group as large as ours, I suggust that we send a few of us away, for stratigical purposes, because whoever is looking as us from the tower will be able to see us if we venture any closer. Jenova, *turns to Jenova* You can cast basic invisibility spells can you not? They would be most helpful at this time, same to you Tass. Pick three of four of us to investigate the towers flank, and the rest of us will continue into the encampment. Expect a contact from Tassatul, who must come with me..."
((Time to decide whos going to sneak around...))

((I honestly tried to spell it, then gave up and wrote that...oh well))
Kal to everyone: "Well, its up to you, I believe that if we sent you *to Katt* you *to Tanyu* and you *to Jennava* Then the rest of us could walk into camp, and we could meet up tonight and come up with plans. Katt, you because your the most skilled lock-worker here, tanyu because he has innate stealth, and hes a fighter, and Jennava because she has the spells that you might need, like invisibility. The team is perfect for a scouting mission, and I dont think that they will let us wonder off out of the camp without an escort. They might believe that we are here to aid the people they are here to fight. Tass, Myslef, and Cobra, along with fighter, will proceed into the encampment and meet with the Commander to find out what information he has....What do you all say?
((If you want me to erase the last two of my posts then say now...I'm just trying to get things goin here))

(I'm a little lost. Let me try and clear this up...
Jeneva, Tanyu, and Katt are (supposed) to scout the castle for weakpoints, guards, etc...
The rest of us will attempt to make (Peaceful) contact with the guards there? Just want to make sure.)
*Will thinks to himself... for a moment...*
"They're all mages... which means... uh... There can't be a lot... right?"
"Er... wait... I'm still thinking in terms of the west. How many guards do you think there would be? Back in the west you'd be lucky to see a group of more then five mages together...."

Kaluth to Cobra: "Well if your talking about the guards from the City Army patrolling the area, I'm guessing that a group of 5, on horseback, will be max. 5 still seems like a lot. You wont find any scouts from the Mages Castle because they are being held up by the City Army. There is only one main entrance into the wall, and thats through the main gate you see completely surrounded. The City Army have decided to barricade the Mage and his followers inside the castle itself you see....
Personally I dont think that barricading...mages...is a good idea. Teleportation spells are not exactly unknown. But hey, whatever works, I suppose. You guys go around and try to find a break in the castle wall, or a place to scale it, and then come meet up with the rest of us and we'll decide what to do from there. But be careful, mages can shoot from through a wall."
((Maybe the castle is protected by a gigantic magical shield? Thats why the City Army cant get into the castle...I dont know))

I laughed at that too. )) *Jenneva followed the group passively, not making much comment as she contemplated the castle before them.* "Katt, I'll ask that you plot our course of attack...or, non-attack as the case is. I will cast the spell, but I want to do it one at a time, just to be sure that it will work. I honestly haven't practiced that much before, so wouldn't it be best to test it first?" |

((ooc: aww, Dan actually remembered my character, thanks dan *twinkly eyes*  . And i can't believe you also remembered that Tanyu has stealth abilities, i must be in the twilight zone, hehe  . I can actually follow whats going on, good job, and i think i like it. I like how its almost night time too)) *Tanyu successfully concocted the potion and drank it awhile ago. He's almost completely sobbered up. He's still kinda holding his head though*Tanyu: "Oh hey, whatever needs doing, I'll do it for the team! *goes into a salute pose* This shouldn't be too big of a problem. During my days when i traveled with a clan of ninjas, i learned a very useful skill that can come in handy for this very purpose - Vanish" ((ooc: thats in my character profile if you want to look it up. Its similar to cloak, its just to aid him in his stealth, and replace the cloaking device of the other versions of Tanyus)) |

Katt: well, invisiblility means you cant be seen, but being heard is something different... im pretty sure me and tanyu wont have any problem with this, but jenneva... how much experience do you have in sneaking about? just wondering... because i know for a fact that i could do this without invisibility, so if you want to stay with the camp team, im sure that would be quite alright. its up to you. well whoevers on the away team, lets head out
