Soul Saber: Act II

((is it just that people arent posting? I'm done for a bit...dont want to powerplay, so you guys do it from here, and Cobra, I give you the authority to control Kaluth if needed...)

((Wait, why can't you control him? You don't want to powerplay? It's ok, no-one seems to mind now. I don't wanna control your character but if I really have to...))

((ooc: Oh come on Dan, take charge of your character. You created him for crying out loud. And i haven't been posting much because my internet service has been infected by a worm.... eh, they're working on it but even as i type this, my service is a bit unpredictable. I keep gettin disconnected and pages won't load or take forever to load and all that junk. And hey, my character is wearin armor as well as leather. And whats going on? The guards are asking help from Kal now? ))

((I havent been posting cause, well, nobody else has. How wierd does that sound? ))

Tass thinks to himself: Good, these guards seem gullible enough. We can get to this castle, then be on our way. . .

((I cant do the Bughunting, this, and res-evil all at the same time, so I'm gonna take a break from this...if you dont mind))

((Actually, I do mind Seing as things here are a little slow, I'm gonna boost us ahead a little, if no-one minds))

*The guards eventually remove the party from their handcuffs, much to the disdain of the other prisoners. The party follows the caravan untill they reach Malitia headquaters- this sector of the city is in relativly good shape. The party is left laone for a few moments as the soldiers converse with their comanding officers.*

"Phew... Uncharacteristacally heroic of you, Kal..."
*But then wills brain remebers how nearvous he gets talking directly to Kal, so he shifts uneasily*

[Tassatul]

*Tass rubs his wrists a bit from the shackles, but no permanent damage was done. Looking around, Tass notices this section is in relatively good shape*

Perhaps the militia can keep the peace easier here, closer to their home base. Or maybe the rebels dare not attack here. . .

*Just then some guards return to escort the group*

Guard: "Come with us. Someone wishes to speak to you. . ."

[BugHunter]

((ooc: *grumble...* Dan, stop making promises you can't keep... That just aint cool dawg ))

*While everyone was talking to each other, they seemed to have neglected to the fact that Tanyu is still knocked out on one of the wagons or whatever*

Tanyu: zzzZZZ

Gaurd: "Hey wait, what are we suppost to do with him?"

((ooc: I'm guessing right now the time in this rpg is approximately 1 o'clock -ish...))

*when the gaurd comes by to remove Katts shackles she just hands them to him with a smile*

Katt: here you go

*the gaurd just looks at her for a second, then she walk away to follow the group inside, laughing to herself again*

*The group is lead away by a soldier, while two guards stay behind and try and decide what to do with Tanyu...*

*They are lead to a group of tents, outside the main building. There is a map of the city with numerous markings and pins sticking out here and there. A group of men are leaning over it.*

"Ah, your here. High mage, I beg your pardon for asking your attention to such matters, as I'm sure you are busy, but we need help. A lot.

"As I'm sure you've already noticed... there's a rebelion going on. Lordsmith is leading forces to upheave the local governemnt... saying tat only the magically enchanted should hold power. A resistance has risen itself out of the ground but... the militia is not properly equiped to deal with this. Plus, men in our own ranks are sympathizers! They stay to their oaths and arn't helping the rebelion... but they wouldn't lift a finger to stop it.

"In short, we need help. Major help. Becuase... well... he's winning. Not much more to say then that, I suppose."

*A depressed look comes across his face... and another of the men begins to talk*
"Maybe he's right. Maybe magi are supiorior. Maybe that's the way God wanted it to be..."
*He is shot a hurtful look by a third man, who promplty says* "Gods, you mean..."

"We have developed a plan- take out the heart and the beast will fall. As is common with rebellions, all of this started over one man's ideals. Taking him out... may take the fight out of this rebelion. Even if it dosn't stop them entirely, a lack of leadership will make this much easier to tackle.

"But there lies the problem: We don't have the manpower to attack Lordsmith himself. He rarely fights on the battlefields... he tends to stay behind the scenes and run the show. We do know where he does this though...
*He points to a pin on the map*
His fortress is heavily guarded. If we could have a higly qualified group break in there and take out Lordsmith through whatever means nessicery, it might end this whole mess. But we need that 'highly qualified group'..."
*He eyes the party*

"So what do you say?"

[Tassatul]

*Tass listens to the man, and makes his own judgements*

This Lordsmith seems like a smart man, although personally, I wouldnt wage a war to make my point

Tass says out loud: "Whats in this for us? I mean, being such a dangerous mission, do we get anything besides your gratification?"

[Cobra5]

"Well... uh... we're kind of low on resources after this whole fiasco... we might be ab;e to get together some money, or something..."

"Oh wait- Lordsmith, he caries a very powerful weapon. It's rumored to be the most powerful in the world... but... well, you know how rumors are. But they also say it's wicked and evil... only one way to find out for sure. You adventuring types are in to that kind of stuff... right? You're free to take anything you find there."

*The second man chimes in*
"I've seen him use it. It really stood out, becuase the blade is black. Not metal, I know that. Looked like a longsword, I think. It was one handed. I'm afraid that's all I can tell you, though. I was behind the front lines."

[Dr. Dan]

((Bughunter STFU!! I didnt promice to always post under this thread all the time...why do you even do that?? I'm getting together the Bughunting thing for YOU guys...how about I just scrap it and let you have it BugHunter, do your own damn intro...))

Anyway, yeah. Where's the Fight-or in all of this? I could make a new character if you want.)

((ooc: Oooh, so quick to anger . You're gonna bust a vein someday, amigo. Breath deep and cool down. You shouldn't fall apart after every little comment i make. In the words of Vash - "Love and peace! Love and peace!" ;D))

((ooc: And chronos, Fighter is still in the Inn, remember? And dont just give up like that and just create a new character))

*The two guards that stayed with Tanyu are still wondering what to do with him*

Gaurd1: "I guess we should get him out the wagon"

*The two try (struggle) to get him out and set him up on a rock*

Tanyu: zzzZZZ

Gaurd2: "Man this guy is heavy... phew. Maybe its his armor"

Gaurd1: (picking up one of Tanyu's twin swords, which was conviscated when he was captured) "Wow, have you seen such craftmanship? Ands its so sharp"

Gaurd2: (picking up Tanyu's Naginata) "Yea, but I've never seen anything like this before" (The gaurd not being familiar with asian weapons)

Tanyu: (sleep talking) "zzzZZZ...Dont touch my stuff...zzzZZZ"

Gaurd2: (surprised a bit) "Wah! huh? Is he awake?"

Gaurd1: (surprised a bit as well) "Doesn't seem to be"

Gaurd2: "I coulda sworn he was..."

*The gaurds continue to stay with Tanyu but have stopped touching his stuff for some reason*
