Hey, can I get a more neon colored green for my name? Yes. Originally, Vinny (Zaku350) had bright green and you had dark green. But as it turns out, if anyone with a number in their name has a colored name, then EVERYONE's name just goes back to normal. So bright green is open. (As for my name, my actual board user name is "Admin", not Cobra5, so my name doesn't actually have numbers in it) |

just like dans name is actually hogwash...
you know, i was going to make some sort of snide remark corellating dans alias to his looks or personality, but i just de-masculated him a few pages back, so i think ill take it easy. plus, this one was too easy anyway.

I'm contemplating changing my screenname to BluDrgn, which is what I use everywhere else nowadays. Although I still like Bughunter, it's starting to age on me.

A side effect of the colored names is that I have to change your name, you can't change it yourself.
As for second names, if Cobra5 is taken (and variants thereof) I use "Archeoavis". Recently, I've been using "Panzersmith" as well.

With me, daftalchemist is usually never taken, unless it was by me and I didn't realize I had already made an account with that name or whatever, or if wherever I'm signing up at doesn't allow a name that long (it happens more often than you'd think). But in that case, I just use daftalchemy. |

Hey I just want everyone to know that I haven't done an ounce of work on the layout. I've been partying and hanging out all weekend. I hope you weren't expecting anything but I'm sure you've come to expect that of me  I'll be getting to those changes, though, so don't worry. I started a lighter layout that's not blue-on-blue but it was coming out very sucky, so I erased it and am starting over. Though my fist change will be to change Cass' and Bughunter's name (lower case c) and color (To brighter green) respectively. After that, the gray layout, then work on all the small buttons. I may not even make a gray layout, maybe just a second layout with brighter text, and call it high contrast or something. |

I think I would enjoy the lighter text more than a grey layout, personally.

Ok.
Bughunter and copyKatt's names have been edited. On some browsers, they will look the same until you "refresh" the page at least once.
As for a lighter text instead of a different color scheme, well, that's easy (and less work!). There's a second layout now- everyone's layout may have switched to it automatically... I'm not sure... if so, just change it in your profile.
If the text is too bright, or if you think it needs some other work, just let me know. Once all of the images in place, its easy to edit the basic colors (and one of the great new improvements of this new layout for me is now I can very quickly change all the images at once ;D).
I didn't make new smilies for the lighter text ("Contrast"). I will if that's necessary though.

That text color is amazing to read. Thanks so much. My eyes love it, for real. The white is a bit stark but I love the new text color so much. Keep in mind that some of us here don't have the perfect vision. Just like if the board was an all audio thing (somehow), we wouldn't make it whisper quiet so you'd be able to hear it too.  |
