Hey there everybody! I know I have been missing for a while, but I just today decided to check out the comptuers in there "business room" and they are just as crappy as I thought they were going to be. Oh well, at least they have an internet connection (more than I have in our apartment right now). I have been applying for jobs here and there, but nowhere has returned any of my calls (must be the way I look?)
I'm really missin NJ. Granted the weather here is amazing. The hottest city in the entire world Phoenix Arizona!! whoo! I've been accepted into Arizona State University and the University of Arizona (yes, they are different). I have to make up my mind as to which one I want to go to by the end of this week, heh...
For those of you who dont know, although arizona is the hottest state, it also has no humidity. There are never any clouds even. I cant rightly explain to people what the heat is like down here, but to the residents of arizona, "Its a dry heat..." is a funny saying to them. Lets just say that back in NJ, people only stay indoors for about 5 months during the snowy days, but here, the only reason people stay indoors is because its over 120 outside, and the roads are melting. (Yes, the roads melt). It has been about 100 every day since I've been here, but I've been ousside each one of them. 100 in arizona is nothing like 100 in NJ. You have humidity, which seeps in and around everything. You find very little shelter in the shade for example, but here, its so different...the heat is very bearable. I love it.
I miss you guys!
So I had a question for people: There was a great time for the radio right before I left on 99.9 about "one hit wonders." All they did was play lots of one hit wonders from all the classic rock bands (a lot of which never made it big, hence one hit wonder). I am going to be buying myself an i-pod soon, and was wondering if anybody else had any great classic rock songs that I couldnt NOT put on my i-pod. I always wished I had a little pad so I could jot down the names of the songs the raido was playing, but I never did and/or I was driving at the same time and didnt think it save to write anything down. Anybody have any ideas? Or questions about Arizona for that matter.
