So I have created this thread to talk about the crazy-awesome things that are happening at this year's E3. Some topics might include:
-If those pics of MGS4 are real screenies, I might have to buy a ps3.
-If those pics of MGS4 arent real, I might still buy a ps3.
-The ps3 will cost $500 or $600 depending upon the harddrive you get.
-The ps3 controller no longer resembles a batarang.
-Wii. lol
-Solid Snake in smash brothers. Link de-throned?
-I had to clean my keyboard/moniter after the Halo 3 trailer.
-Spore looks a bit cartoony, but I'm still going to buy it.
-Bioshock finally has some media. sweetness.
-Will Fable 2 actually live up to the hype of the original?
-Where teh fcuk is the next KOTOR game?
-Other stuff you might come up with.

Snake in Smash Brothers? Well i know that Metal Gear was on the NES but it was still Konami...
Spore is freaking awesome! Everything from single cells to entire galaxies at our command! Incredible! And the creature creation system alone is enough to boggle the mind! Its blowing me away how the program is able to render animation of oddly shaped creatures on the fly! Insane!!
So what does the new PS3 controller look like? The original?
This summer I'm using my money to buy a Wacom tablet. Standard issue for anyone serious with the arts... Oh well, I'm an artist first, gamer second nowadays.

Yeah Snake! I guess he has a move called "the cardboard box." Im not sure if its a shield or what, but I like it already.
I havent seen pictures, but I guess the ps3 controllers look more like the Dualshock 2 now.
Whats a wacom tablet?

I've seen the spore tech demo a while ago. The space seciton dosn't look too great if you ask me, but the rest looks awesome.
No new KOTOR game becuase, I THINK, because they're working on Neverwinter Nights 2 instead. But I also hear that NWN2 was being devloped by another devloper.
I heard about "Wii" on gamespot a little while ago. lol also.
I heard about the PS3 price at Gamestop talking to the guys who work there. Too much for me, its that simple...
Snake in Smash brothers? Whhhhaaaatttttt?
I dunno if its E3 related, but, the guy at gamestop also told me that GTA4 will come out on XBox260 before it comes out on PS3, even though GTA4 is going to be a PS3 launch title.
Rise of Legends comes out very soon, if its not out already. I'm so excited.....
Bioshock....bioshock.... oh yeah. They had displays at EB. Thats all I know about it.

I am still ever-patiently waiting for my Twilight Princess...  It's what I'm looking forward to the most by far. There's just not much else that I've been excited for....um...Heroes V comes out soon and that could be cool...I dunno. I've been hooked on the second Prince of Persia lately. A guy from my drawing class is letting me borrow that one and the third one for the summer.  |

i dont think that heroes V has much e3 coverage, but thats one of the games im looking forward to the most. im not even going to bother looking at all the new console games, just because i dont have 600 dollars to blow... i think thats a bit over the top for a console.
wii... i cannot even fathom why they would go to something cool sounding like 'the revolution' to wii. it. makes. no. sence.
i guess pc gaming is where its at for me for the next couple years. thats okay though, the prospects dont seem too bad.

OOOOOOOHHHH SNAAAP!!!! I just saw the trailer for the new Smash Bros!!! Shows some of the new characters and YES, Snake is in there! Also everything else, Overall its lookin so freakin tight!!!
I heard that Snakes in here because its either Shegiru Miyamoto or Hideo Kojima is a really huge fan of one or the other. I just wish Rare wasn't bought by Microsoft, otherwise we coulda seen Conker in here!! *tear*
Maybe there's no new KOTOR game because they're working on some freakin awesome light saber game for the Wii. I heard there was a project out there going on.
Oh yeah, a Wacom tablet is standard issue for any digital painter nowadays. Its like a tablet that comes with a pen stylus. Whatever strokes you make on the tablet appears on screen. It gives so much more dexterity when digitally painting than a mouse. Now that I've experienced tablets, using a mouse to paint feels like painting with a rock... So now i need one.

I would use that stupid effing remote for Wii if they made a lightsaber game for it. Oh my God, would I ever. Oh man....that's such a badass thought...lightsaber game for Wii. Come on, Miyamoto. Make it happen!! Twist Lucas' arm like a freakin' Wookiee. ;D

Halo 3 trailer is sweet. Can you say rampancy? Beat me too it Jalathas. Freaking awesome. I guess that Konami had to practically beg to get Snake into the game. And yes, that trailer was quite cool. I watched the trailer for MGS4:Guns of the Patriots. After a friend performed CPR, I was able to watch it again. Sweetness in the extreme. Raiden is actually cool, mostly because he is pretty much Grey Fox at this point. Command and Conquer 3 is looking nice. Thats all I got. Blizzard announced the new race for Alliance in WoW: Draenei. Everyone thinks they look like Protoss. At first I thought that was dumb from the pictures I saw, but then I watched the video. In-game, one gets a very "protoss-ish" feel from them. They have the same bendy-back legs too. |
