Calvinball!

The Caivinball. The ultimate artifact of power. The infinite pool of energy. The creation that has been sought throughout the centuries by the mightiest of all. Lost for over 100,000 years, thought to be destroyed, the mighty tool that caused millions of wars has finally reappeared. Its power calls to all the greatest warriors and mages in all the realms. It currently hovers above a snowy plain in the Elemental Plane of Ice. Your objective is to defeat the other Calvinballers and capture the ball. GO!

((Sorry for the serious intro, basically, everyone wants to capture the Calvinball, an indestructible infinite battery of power. The rules are basically this: state intent, not effect when you're attacking players. You can respawn if you die, up to 20 times per game. When it reaches 100 posts, we post our endings and decide which is the best. That's pretty much it. I'm not sure yet if this should be serious or funny. What do you think?

and my vote is for either or (funny ot not), whichever mood your in. if you feel like being funny then go for it, but if you have some uber cool scene and you just have to get it down... then that works too . thats my vote i suppose. undecided, as usual.))

((WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! The objective is to get the ball, but once you have it other people can take it from you. Also, copykatt, your idea's pertty good, funny at some times but not at others. I like it.))

Jalathas, floating over the field, watches as his competitors begin to appear. He searches for the calvinball, but unable to see it, he rushes at Katt cutting at her with twin scimitars.

[Coral]

Coral jumps out of his revamped X16 and parachutes down to earth. Unfortunately, his parachutes dont work and he comes crashing to earth and one foot per hour, as his backup chutes work. He immediately launches nukes at Jalathas

((NO NUKES! but I'll deal with this attack.))

Jalathas steps out of the way of the nukes, then uses psionic power to reverse them back at coral. once they're within 150 yards of him, Jalathas surrounds him and the nukes in a 10 foot thick lead bubble.

[Abishai]

Abishai watches the fireworks with disinterest. To him the ball is everything. With quick deft movements he begins a sweep accross the terrain searching for the elusive ball.
