When I think of how this RPG will turn out, i really think of RedvsBlue, or Sealab 2021. Everyone is an incompatant fool. But they try... sometimes.
My character is going to be the engineer. But he has no idea what he's doing. (Constantly refering to the totally usless "Owner's manual" for the ship).

Okay...somehow this has managed to keep interest...wow...i'm amazed *tear* lol

but here's the gist of the story- it'll be quite open-ended

At some inhumanly long millenia from now, also known as the 'distant' future- where people now have access to driving in three dimension with the birth of flying cars (resulting in a quadrupling of auto-accidents), and no one has to go to school since people are given their custom requested educations on CDs the size of pennies that go in your ears...and are consequently called...schroocks. In this timeframe, humanity decided that best way for them to get rid of their massively large piles of waste...parts of which float in space; forming the "Smog Belt"...they'd have to create temporary black holes...That's when some blundering scientific madman from Germany and his assistant Igor literally cooked up...a black hole...but, unfortunately- the system proved unstable- and systematically annihilated the planet in an explosion as bright as a white dwarf...

But...all was not lost for humanity...the impending doom was forseen by a crackshot captain of twenty failed missions to Uranus for whatever reason the Earth Alliance decided to send him there...he gathered a crew to escape the doomed little sphere...by themselves

and that where the story would begin, right during the gathering of the crew of the crackshot captain- what do you all think?

That's great. I like the "quadrupling of auto accidents". That's a funny spin on it.

Here's my suggestion: we could say, for whatever reason, we were away from Earth already (maybe becuase they didn't want US anywhere near it, so they sent us on some worthless, out of the way mission ) And we come home to find it... missing... the whole thing.

That'd be fun to RP ;D
