Well, I was also hoping for a nice peacful game. I mean, not really 'hoping for'... rather, 'expecting'. I have faith that you, the members of my board, can come up with peacful, diplomatic solutions. Here, however, are my predictions: There will be a cold war of some sort. Dannination's secretive nature, and Wijk's obvious interest in military might will be excelent sparks, but not quite enough to make a fire. If they are on opposing sides, there will be an arms race to keep up with eachother. If they are allied, their will be an arms race to match them. I predict that midgard will be dragged into it as well, not wanting to be involve din any conflict, but lacking the resources to be self-reliant. The whole oil situation should prove interesting. Lutassat owns it all, basically, Dannination being the only other country that is possably self-reliant. If there really isn't enough oil to go around, I may add off-shore oil rigs... but only if oil becomes a serious problem. I want the oil to be centered around a single area, to mimic real life conditions. BTW, You can ask any time in-game for your 'advisors' to give you an estimate on the world situation and possable enemy actions, so I really didn't give anything away. Although, that's a war situation. I'd like to see you guys come up with diplomatic solutions. A working, world goverment body would be interesting to seem seeing as we don't have one in real life

My first goal is to develop enough nuclear weapons to destroy everyone else's cities. Hehe, just kidding, but infact, I plan on refitting, and designing new units as soon as I develop some new technologies, and I also plan to get nuclear weapons. Just enough to deter any attacks, so that who ever nukes me will have a bad fate, and then I may or may not nuke lussatat. That depends on how many lussatat-reliant people attack me. And of course, I will not fire nukes until I really need too, or am about to die.

Right, Nukes. Nuking a city makes it un-inhabitable for a short time, and afterwards, it overall effectiveness is severly limited for an even longer period of time. Numerous nukes in a single region iradiate an entire region, so you don't get any resources from it, and the radiotion begins to bleed in a lateral band around the planet from that location, though the effects of the long-range band are much weaker. Too many nukes overall will cuase severe global side affects, starting with wide-spread radiotion poisoning, and climaxing with an all-out nuklear winter- a literal apocolypse. Even if there are survivors, it dosn't mater- Earth is dead, and there is no source of food or clean water. You will have plenty of warning before something like this happens- don't think it will happen after one nuke or something like that. But let's hope it dosn't come to that. And, openly planning to invade Lutassat, are we coral? BTW, the game WOULD've been ready by tomorow, but I lost internet connection for two days and had no access to any of my notes. So sorry... I don't have to start it on a Sunday as originally planned, though, so I'll just start it when I'm ready, and whatever day that is on will be the new day that turns are sent out every week.

Im not going to invade lussatat unless the need really arises. To make it clear, if you depend on lussatat AND you nuke me, I nuke lussatat and you. So anyways, im also thinking about a space program

I didn't include space program in this one. I guess I could put it in, last minuete, but I was saving that for the next game. I didn't want to add any more rules yet...
If its in this game, don't expect it to be perfect.

plus, its going to take quite a while to develop all these techs, you know that, right coral? all of us are going to be researching things to make our economy stronger while your developing nukes and battle tanks and stuff for a war that probably wont happen anytime in the beggining. well, thats just my thoughts anyway.

if im the first to get nukes (Which will be excellent, giving me nuclear power plants), ill have an economic boom, and anyone who doesen't like me may see big, black mushroom rising. My prediction is that Aerohann will desperately try to get millitary units to defend itself, while I simply research more technology. Im hoping for global piece. That right. I want a piece of this country and a piece of that country.

I'll be perfectly honest, I don't plan to attack anyone....but I am more than willing to supply metals and the like once I build up on the potential of Midgard- after all, it's a defense directed country
