A new (sort of) RPG

This is only a beta game, sorta, anyway. Perhaps someone else would let you in on their team, who knows?

After this game is complete, whenever that may be, we'll be starting another, with as many people who want to join. This one is like a test.



Also, Cass spoke to deimos. She says he says his computer is still broked, but he can use the computer lab if he needs to. Its always full, she syas he says, but he gan manage once a week if nessicery.

I'm taking that for what it is, I guess. Its time to start, I guess.

I'm making the World Board Public, again. That board is 100% ON TOPIC, so don't spam in it at all.


I put up a 'news post', maybe to give you an idea of how its going to work. More importantly, to give you the backstory. World war, etc. Its basic, I really didn't have much to write.

The Wijkare language, unlike most other things Wijkare, is very simple. Words are spelled as they sound, and there are rules with no exceptions (Wimen instead of women, etc) There is also a 29th letter, which is a sort of swirly 'o'. It looks sort of like a '@', and is used where the 'ow' sound is heard, like this: S@nd. Other than that, its like english, except with some odd german influences here and there, and most of the names are dutch or german.

Ah, and Wijkare religions are very... bloody. Red is god's color, it is said in Wijk, and Blood is the purest red. Murder and crime are extremely common in Wijk- nearly every person robs a bank or kills someone in their life time. The streets are saturated with millitary policemen wielding assault rifles, who unfortunately, must fire an average of 180 rounds a day. The only people who are (partly) safe from the warfare are foreigners, as they often have a contingent of fully armed soldiers gaurding them.

And by the way, how is Open Office?

Open office is great. Its so very helpfull... and we didn't even have a proper document editor on this computer...

Hm. I was partly on with your country, but off, too. I had the social unrest (you mentioned frequent civil wars in your country), didn't have the german language, though.

As said, the posts will be sent either tonight, or tommorow. Prolly not tonight, though... I was sorta busy, and I've got tons of projects all of the sudden...

Surprise! Nothing.

I took a surprise trip yesterday, and I can't do anything today, either, becuase I've got a paper to write for my business law class.

So, it looks like the turns will begin on friday, maybe saturday. Which works out fine, becuase that sets up a nice weekly schedule.

Sunday and STILL no PMs...

Hey, I'm on it! I couldn't get on the computer today untill now. First, I had to clean the living room foir the third time this week, then take out the christmas tree and birng it down to the forest, then vinny called me like, 1 bajillion times, trying to get Icewind Dale working.

Don't worry, I havn't forgot.

The turns are being posted today. I'm proofreading them now, I've already found a couple mistakes. something quite dangorous!

regardless, everything will be posted today. There was one problem, albiet minor. Coral, you named a Military agency (The Wijkzen'Wvande-storeen) and a research organization (The Wijkzen'fretzan) but no economical organizaiton- those three are what you need at the very least. For now, your organization is called the "Wijk Economical group" but that obviously dosn't fit with the other names, so feel free to change it as you will .

Again, all I'm doing is putting the finishing touches on, and (re)redetermaining the starting armies. ;D

Oh, BY THE WAY, you can send the mail to me as many times as you want before friday. For example, dan has sent me a reply to his turn already, asking questions on proper ways to reply, how the research system works, and whatnot, and I've already replied to him.

If you reply earlier, also, you're organizations can 'look over' your decision become final, thus preventing anything happening you didn't want to happen. You can change your turn as many times as you want before firday.

I feel really sorry starting without confirmation from Al (deimos)... I hope he can still play... I had plans for Midgard... (but that's not saying much, I have plans for everyone...)


Oh yes, by the way, I need titles form everyone. well, not NEED, but you know. Just like flags. I'll need them eventually.

For example, Dan is Emperor, Deimos is Aesir, I believe Coral is also Emperor...

Its for your reports, mostly. "Good Afternoon, Emperor..." but also the news reports "The Aesir of Midgard announced earlier today..."



Another word. If you plan to start any projects at all involving the public as a whole, it will almost %100 be mentioned in the news posts. Maybe without you even knowing. Fair warning. Remeber, public information is just that: Public.
