Um... Although you might not notice it at first... Heather, if you try to pronounce the name of your army, its sounds like the "Bonko Corps"... and well... that's not a very good army name... Where were you getting these names by the way? They really sound Yddish. Not nessicerily bad, though... it gives your country a... 'forign' feel to it. One more thing. Dan has sent me his Country in a PM, and Al says he is working on his (I think he said it was almost done). Counting in heather's country, that means Tass and Katt are the only onese left. Then we can start!! ;D

Name: Danination Flag: Currently Forming National Currency: Kal's Capital: Northern Draconis-Prime Terrain: The geography of the land is exedingly beautiful, and is an extremely geo-active area. There are gysers and hotsprings scattered throughout the area, making it extremely unstable and an awesome specticle of nature. There are multiple caverns and natural undergound waterways, resulting in very unstable ground for large vehicles to travel across, and buildings have been placed in extremely strategic locations as to avoid the seizemic activity, and possible future erosion of the ground underneith the buildings themselves. The geo-activity of the area has resulted in extremely fertile land, and a grand abundance of forests in the north-western area through the central portions of the country. In the southeastern area of the land, there are some oil deposits (again, due to the geo-activity). Some of the caverns result in mineral and ore deposits. The perimeter of the country is about a mile of open planes -- just beautiful sweeping grassy fields, which serve as feeding-grouds for hundreds of different species. Overall, the land is very good for supporting a country -- and not so good for fighting a war. History: The people of Danination have grown accustomed to the land, and to using sophisticated eqpuipment to scan underground passageways for structural integrity. Being mostly a peaceful country, they have adapted to protect against possible attack, rather than preparing an attack force. They do not want to engage in full-frontal war, and will probably become neutral allyes with anybody at the first hint of danger. Internal Agencies: [/li][li] Daninonian Stockmarket (a reflection of how the economy is doing) [/li][li]Daninonian Trading Co. & Inc. (prices of the supplies, possible trade routes, prices of other people supplies for the best deal, gathers information on who is in need of what supplies) [/li][li]DDC (Daninonian Defense Contractors) (Updates on the country's defenses -- due to no true army) [/li][li]CDIA (Central Daninonian Intelligence Agency, gathers other countries research information to try and get a standpoint on how developed the other counries are, and to try and see which armys are where) [/li][li]CDRA (Central Daninonian Research Agency, researches new technoloy) [/li][li]CDBA (Central Daninonian Budget Agency -- reports on how the inflow of money is doing, inflation, and the like, also compares the value of the Kal to other curriencies) Uniqueness: Danination, because it is built on such unstable ground, has taken to the idea of using unconventional methods of transporting things. The use of hover-technology has taken off. Danination is the only country to utilize hovercraft, mostly to avoid hurting the delicate wildlife that has taken a foothold in the geo-active area, and to make sure the equipment dosnt get stuck. This however, results in extremely lightly armored military vehicles with medium sized guns, to allow for the baloon hovercrafts to work. They can however, travel quickly and effectively over almost any terrain, unlike conventional tanks. Some pictures of the terrain: ---- ----

wow. nice Dan. pero yo estoy muy peresozo. . .
Name: Lutassat
National Currency: Teks
Capital: Aioria
Terrain: Whooo! Lots and lots of oil fields, and no timber whatsever.
History: Lutassat has been a trading country since its humble beginnings as a mere group of merchants who claimed the new land. Because of the severe lack of timber, Lutassat must depend upon its heavy oil trade to all the other nations. This makes for a very rich populace, and a government with an abundance a laws and systems overseeing trade. Lutassat has little military force, but instead relies on tariffs and trade restrictions to weaken enemies.
Internal Agencies: -LBP (Lutassat Barter Partnership) Oversees small, privatly owned tradeing businesses.
-ITEP (International Trade Exchange Program) Oversees large, governement trading systems.
-SMA (Stock Market Analysts) Watches the market for the goverenment, keeping an eye on highs and lows.
-LRD (Lutassat Research and Development)
-LDO (Lutassat Defence Organization)

Al, I dont mean to sound pessimistic, but posting much more than I did is...not needed. I gave a description of the landscape, resourses, breif history on how the people adapted to the land, and the organizations from which I want a report each turn.
I'm just saying dont go overboard...

I actually have some revisions to make to my country in general. Dan, do you mind if I borrow your idea and include pictures? I'm also going to try to create a flag via PSP, so that might be done soon (as in days, not hours ).

Name: Aerohann
Flag: uhh...work in progress
National Currency: ARCs (Aerovian Regulated Currency)
Capital: Saintside Vista
Terrain: lots of open plains and fertile valleys. a large portion of the land is great for farming, along with open shores for fishing. Theres also large forests for lumber. all in all, its a very natural place. A majority of the people are farmers, and there arent too many huge cities, besides capitols.
Internal Agencies:
ANG (Aerovian National Guard)- The army of the country. Nicknamed the Angel Corps, due to the acronym and the fact that its mostly airforce.
ARS (Aerovian Research Society)- handles scientifical stuff... the reaseach department.
APD (Aerovian Peoples Delegation)- Takes care of the people, and makes them happy people. The governments riot and mutany insurance.
ARMA (Aerovian Resource Management Association)- Started out just dealing with trade with other coutries and the management of goods, but then branched out a bit and now covers all trade.
AFAC (Aerovian Foriegn Affairs Committee)- deals with foreign affairs.
Culture: A culture of mostly farmers, they hold a respect for nature. Even from the countries roots, they have been an agricultural society. Art and music have always taken a higher priority then physics and chemistry. People are judged on their accomplishments and talents in the aesthetic feilds rather then how much money they make. since Aerovians are so concentrated in art and music, they've made a name for themselves world wide.
well thats all for now... im probably going to expand it sometime later.

Well, guys, we set up out new computers- bad news is, though, that all the works-in-progress were on my old computer. The old one, however, currently dosn't have internet access.
This probably isn't too much of a set back. The map is saved on my server, so I can download it on to this computer. I'm going to have to find a way to get PSP on this one, though.
We shouls still be able to play, but I can't update the map untill I get PSP back.
Also, I'm using a new keyboard, and I keep making little mistakes that I don't notice. Just letting you know.

hey, I knew well from the start that i'd go overboard- so I just took the life preserver and dove off the bow as crazily as I could- although, I did actually condense it when I put it up
and besides, I love doing this kind of thing- making countries and the such
so without further ado...my country, Midgard (all names are actual Norse mythology names, look em' up yourself and see!)
Name- Midgard Capital- Yggdrasil Flag- (in progress)
Political Information: Government Type- Absolute Monarchy Head of State- Aesir, hereditary title Government Organizations- (self explanatory) ~Midgard Trade Commission ~Midgard Defense and International Affairs Bureau ~Midgard R & D Commission ~Midgard Resource Management Commission ~Midgard Civilian Affairs Bureau (aka- Internal/Domestic Affairs) Military Divisions- army*, navy, foreign legion *also called- the Valkyrie Array- primarily because most of the land assault force is female, whereas a majority of the navy is male
Economical Information: Currency- ymir (I had a symbol, but it wouldn't show up on the board) Economical Rating- 2nd world country Economy class- export country GDP (Gross Domestic Product)- approx 1.9 trillion ymir Employment Breakdown- ~57% mining, fishing ~24% industry ~19% services Major Export Products- ~ores (gold, iron, copper, lead, zinc, tin, and manganese- nonmetalliferous minerals, such as coal, quartz, bauxite, trona, borax, asbestos and talc- building and ornamental stones, slate, marble, limestone, and granite are Midgard’s most valued ore exports) ~seafoods (pilchard, squid, pollock, scallops, skipjack tuna, anchovies, chub mackerel, saury, cupped oysters, deep sea fish and salmon are Midgard’s best seafood exports) Major Import Products- ~lumber/timber ~mineral fuels and lubricants ~food (non-seafood) and live animals ~basic manufactures ~other crude inedible materials
Population Information: Population- approx. 175,000,000 Urban/Rural breakdown- ~48% urban ~52% rural Ethnic diversity- ~78% Midgardian ~22% other General- The people of Midgard are a simple people, of which there two primary divisions: those who mine towards the Central and Northern Border regions and those who fish around the entirety of the coastal regions. In Midgard- depending on the region of one’s birth- they’ll either become a great fisher or miner, both of which have shared status. Of course because of this divide- the people here are also quite durable. Here the attitude towards work is very much “for the whole” the people of Midgard don’t strive for personal gain, everyone works the well being of the entirety of the nation. Thus being, what most would call ‘monopolies’ (in Midgard- Combines) is very common practice amongst its business. They are also a people of deep respect and reverence for the past, and the ways of old. As for their thoughts on combat- they would rather not join wars, but if the situation may cause harm to the nation- then everyone pitches in on pain of death. Of course, this course of action will only be done in defense.
Geographical Information: Highest Point- Mt. Jotunheim, 3889m Lowest Point- Angerbode Valley, varying around 300m to 450m below sea level General Terrain- There are four primary regions in Midgard, each slightly differing: ~Asgard- the Central Region (location of Yggdrasil), consisting of rolling hills and average mountain ranges (with the exception of Mt. Jotunheim), rich in multiple ores ~Niflheim- the Northern Border regions, consisting primarily of Midgard’s tallest mountain chains, abundant in iron ore ~Muspelheim- the entire Coastal Region that consists of lowlands, sandy beaches to southern shoreline, and rocky shores on the small peninsula and eastern shoreline *each do have one exact thing in common: land that is entirely unsuitable for trees Major Geographical Features- ~Mimir: location- Niflheim, within a border state (second state inward from the east shore)-a small trench, part of the Angerbode valley. Contains a VAST amount of ores, which to date- the area has only been 6% tapped ~Elfheim: location- Muspelheim, the small peninsula to the west- the best fishing point in all Midgard albeit rocky, parts of it are also some of the most beautiful beaches around ~Jotunheim: location- Asgard, the single tallest mountain in the entire country ~Angerbode: location- Niflheim, the longest and deepest valley in Midgard
Climate: Average Readings- early half of the year -7°C, later half of the year 3°C General- Varies; towards the south its always slightly warm and to the north always cool and cold. There is never really a “hot” day in Midgard- not to mention, ore refineries have had a strange affect on the climate of the nation- leaving it in a somewhat constant gray haze...especially within the mountains and valleys of the Central Regions.
Miscellaneous Points: Midgard’s technology has adapted to suit what the people have been doing for years: mining and fishing. They have developed vehicles that can easily traverse the most varied types of terrain as well as extreme depths of earth and sea, which equivalates to excellent tanks, submarines, and naval attack ships (which are kept upgraded, but are rarely ever used). This was only capable with their access to countless ores, thus the people of Midgard have been able specialize in creating super-alloys without sacrifice to weight, and withstand incredible pressure and temprature changes. All this in mind, Midgard has become a defensive nation- all the more emphasized by the use of advanced traps within blind spots of the surrounding sea and the mountainous terrain that makes up the central parts of the country (as well as surround the capital).
