Actually Half-life will be coming out this fall. Hooray! ;D and to all ya'll who haven't known -- G-Phoria, the award show for gaming has been playing on G4TechTV! Go and check it out . I think I'll go and post up the list of winners some time later. But on a side note, if you ask me, i think the show is promoting sexual innuendo a lot more this year, even without the help of DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball being on the roster . So anyway, have fun, be well, and keep on partyin! ;D Gaming forever!

Halflife2 WILL be delayed again. Count on it. It was supposedly supposed to come out 2000-2001, originally... (remember, Halflife is an old game... dating back to 1998...) Its been delayed and delayed, especially since its press release... which is prolly why they kept it so tight a seceret untill then. Oh, by the way, I was playing on the Official Valve servers one day, a long time ago (like years...) and I talked to one of the VALVe level designers- he was playing on one of the maps he desdigned, which just so happened to be my favorite. He said that the game was already done, and it was supposed to be released that christmas, as well as Team Fortress 2. He told us about Team Fortress 2- a game we didn't even know was being worked on at the time- well before anyone knew about it. A stand-alone Team Fortress game, that would be released at the same time as HL2. TF2 would be a realistic game, not an arcade one. He also said that HL2 would ship with a mod called Team Fortress Classic 2, which would arcade-ish be like the originals. A while later... VALVe anounces TF2... and that's when I started to actually believed him. HL2 never came out that christmas, though...

Nice call, BugHunter. I read somewhere that VALVe has reportedly finished wish something along the lines of a debug stage. Which means, were getting close. w00t!
But closer yet is Fable. A little over a month, and it will arrive at my house, at which point i will forsake human contact in oreder to fully appreciate the game. it will become my life. sweet!

I look up information on that game, becuase of the things you had been saying about it. It DEFINATLY sounds like a Lionhead game- the whole 'world reacting to your choices' and 'open eneded gameplay' are definantly their style so far... and it looks good. Also, I believe they are making a PC version... which means I'd get to try it. Same deal with Halo, and I really see what the hype was (is) about.

Are they making a PC version? That would be sweet to have, because the graphics and loading times would be better and faster, respectively. It just sounds sooo cool. You can even get tatoos and stuff, thats how indepth the game is.

I have to buy everything that I want that doesnt involve school or sports. Had to save all my hard-earned cash to get my xbox, back when they were $200. Well, some of it was hard-earned. I did manage to make out nice during some card games with my friends Dangerous tho. Definantly sucks when you lose big.

Man, i almost couldn't believe they had an arcade on the cruise ship, lol. So anyway, I'm finding myself beating a lot of arcade games recently. I went and beat Starwars twice and for the first time on the boat, lol. Man that game is fun. And i also beat Jurassic Park II, also gotta love how off the aiming of the gun was. And there were games that I didn't even knew existed. Did you guys know they had a FPS Resident Evil arcade?! It was Biohazard Survivor II, I didn't even know there was a first one. It looked heavily based on RE:Code Veronica since you play as Claire Redfield on that base in the game. The controls are weird -- All you get is a machine gun looking joystick which controls movement and turning and the trigger which you use often since there isn't a shortage of zombies. Its completely free form movement so you can go wherever you want on the map once you get used to the controls. But then you also get a timer. But the cool feature is that if your timer runs out, you dont automatically die, but that giant thing in the trench coat (Tyant?) appears and slowly comes toward you. They made him completely invulnerable in this version so you have to just run like hell. And I'm guessing the game gets really freaking hard later on cus once you're in a room full of zombies, there's no getting out, and you die pretty quickly against stronger monsters. But they also put in a password thing so that when you die, you can go back to the level. Overall i think its a weird but interesting take on the RE genre. But they made it so that you have to get to the room with a key, grab it, and then use the key to get to the room with the boss, lol. The shotgun is still fun to use in first person view, hehe.

I bought Ninja Gaiden the other day. Definantly an awesome game. Really hard too, which is part of the reason i like it. I think its xbox only, but its definantly lots of fun.

Our PS2 is dead. It can play CDs, but not DVDs. If I get another console, its gonna be Xbox. Deciding reasons: Morrowind, Ninja Gaiden, Fable, Halo 2. Morrowind: I LOVE open ended RPGs. But they all suck. But then I read a little about this, and people actually LIKE it. I was like "huh? A good open-ended RPG?" Ninja Gaiden: Saw the trailer. That's all I needed to see. It looked like Devil May Cry on steroids. Fable: Another open ended RPG! Awesome. By Lionhead! Awesomer. Halo2: Do I even need to say anything? This and Half-life 2 have got to be the two best games coming out, but I'll actually be able to play this one if I have an X-box... Runner ups- Gamecube has Metroid Prime, the new metroid game, smash brother melee, and the new kick ass zelda. And that zelda does look kick ass. The only thing PS2 has is MGS3 (which alone is a good enough reason to buy the system, perhaps ;D), but they might even port it to Xbox like they did with MGS2. I bought it for final fantasy, which SUCKS now. Every game square-enix makes is bad, now. They used ot be my favorite company, and now they suck. Oh well.

Wow, so negative. And i wouldn't say the Final Fantasies are ruined. They're all great by themselves. You just have to look past the sex, which is hard to do anyway. Artisticly, the Final Fantasies kick the crap out of a lot of what i see. I have high respects for these artists who make them. And they work their asses off.

That's actually one of the reasons I don't like it anymore. The art changed so much since the old ones. The storlines are nothing like they used to be either, and same witht he charaters.
FF6, for example, had the best characters. Locke, was my personal favorite.
FFX charaters were... bleh. Personally, I think Tidus was a whiny little girl in a guys body. Lulu was a 'proportioned' woman's body with no personality inside- even when she did talk, she never said anything. Rikku is the obligitory, cliched energetic anime 'cute girl'... so on and so on...
