Demons and Angels

I'm not sure what you mean. I believe I said we're all humans, but a repenting demon might work in chapter 2... Yep, I have the story divided into chapters already. Three planned so far, and more to come if there's enough interest.

[Abishai]

However, you mentioned our friends growing wings. That inferred that normal humans were becoming angelic or demonic. . . .

We don't get wings until later. We start as normal humans. Wings in Chapter 2.

You didn't know? Jalathas, I am your father.

*Cuts off hand, then jumps down a bottomless shaft*

Ok, I really want this to get going, so here's my character.

Name: Kazuma Masahiro
Age: 17
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black
Height: 5'9"
Clothing: Silver dress shirt and black slacks, with a silver chain belt.
Weapons: Katana in a sheath across his back, and a Glock 17 in a holster on his chain belt.
Backstory: Kazuma was always different. He had few friends, and had violent reactions. For his entire time in high school, he wore his wooden katana across his back. Once, a teacher complained to him, and he broke her arm with the bokken. When the principal confronted him about it, he put his hand to the weapon again, and was transferred to kendo training the next day. When the Apocalypse began, he and his friends were equally critical of both sides. Soon, however, they turned to one side or the other, leaving him alone. He was on a school trip to Rome when the Demons attacked.

Eyes: He's worn so many colored contacts he's forgotten the true color
Hair: Currentlyy dyed blue/black naturally red
Height: 5' 11"
Clothing: Well worn faded jeans, held up with a leather belt, t-shirt with the faded words "Normal People Worry Me" emblazoned upon it in incredibly large font, a light weight (and obviously stolen) windbreaker tied around his waist
Weapons: Ryan is a martial artist who is incredibly skilled with his hands and feet, he also is a master with improvised weapons. To start with, his only weapon is a 10' length of chain.
Backstory:
Ryan was a college student studying foreign language and religion in school, when the opportunity to study abroad arose he leapt at the opportunity. Rome, what an incredible place to study. . . and then the demons came. His school was one of the first places to fall, after all what demon wants a bunch of pissed off theologians running around?

Since that day Ryan has sided with the angels although he realizes there is little that he alone can do he strives to do his part.

Name: Fargo Squire

Age: 23

Eyes: Green

Hair: Short Brown

Height: 5' 11"

Clothing: Light-colored jeans, plain grey t-shirt, 3 pairs of black socks and sandals. (Hey, it's me!)

Weapons: A wooden practice sword is all he carries, strapped to his back. It's sturdy though, and can do a lot of damage.

Backstory: Fargo has always been on the run from the demons, due to both their horrific attack on his family as a child and to their grotesque black wings. He fears them, but even more, he wants them all dead. That's his goal, though he gathers little comfort from the angels. Also mutant, they freak him out just as much, but aren't seen as murderers.
