Well, its not like I can't redo it. I didn't have a lot in the first place. The battle system and most of the universe info is in my head.

STARSHIP RPG:
This RPG is about 25% structured, and 75% Dynamic.
In this RPG, character are all military soldiers or officers. The Spacy (Spacy is like a navy... in space), to be exact. To be even more specific, they are all assigned to the newest, most powerful Super-capital class ship designed by the military- SSN Vindicator. It is a massive battleship, dwarfing other ships on the battlefield, and containing enough crew, facilities, and supplies to survive on its own for extended periods of time.

This RPG is both battle, and personal based. There is a war going on, in which the Vindicator takes part. However, it is not just one, massive battle, and characters have a lot of time to just stroll the ship and interact with eachother. Characters have also a lot of breadth and width in the creation of their character- Stations on the ship range from a birdge crew or comander of a specific section of the ship, down to some nameless engineer or guard. And of course there are the fighter pilots and marines that fight in the battles that the ship goes through.

For those of you that like anime, if you have SDF Macross or Robotech in mind, you wouldn't be far off. There are no giant robots (), and no aliens, and no civilian crew, but you do have the basic idea.

As for the statistical portion of the battle, only the ships commanders will have ot worry about it. Or rather, everyone will feel the effects of it, but only a few will actually take part in it. The number of crew, supply, and ships currently onboard are all kept track of- everytime the ship participates in battle and every time the ship gets supplied, these number are changed. This will have an effect on the players, as in, if the ship is low on supplies, rations may be put in place, or you may have restricted use of water. Or if a lot of people die, some NPC characters under your control may be destroyed or whatnot, coupled with the vast space to create a character, this makes a very dynamic and changable world to RP in.

would it be okay if were to try this RP? I've never started one before, and this looks like one that i would like to try. And, though it may be rather unconventional, I would like to be the Chief Mechanic.

Haha! This was my favorite of the RPGs that never got finished. Unfortunatly, liek I said, the RPG never got finished.


The problem here is that, not many people are RPing anymore. If anyone was willing to join in some RPs, I would be willing to play in them as well.

Of all the RPGs you've posted that you'd like to join, the creators have all left the board, except this one. I created the Starship RPG. I still have all the notes and designs in my notebook

Unfortunatly, I don't think an RPG with just the two of us would be very fun. We'll have to see if anyone else is interested.

okay, let me know if someone else wants to join in. I have NO idea why, but when i read that idea, i wanted to be lead mechanic on that ship. weird, isn't it?
