I'd pause so much. Pause, spend however long I want working on my research papers. Pause, play games for hours and hours without parents bitching at me for it. It would be sweet. That, or if I say something stupid, I can rewind and say it differently. If I miss the bus or show up late to somewhere, I can rewind and be ready and waiting right on time. If I attempt to run along a wall and then jump off onto a horizontal bar and then flip onto a higher platform and fall, I can rewind and do it all over again, but without the falling. ;D I had to throw that in.

I'm not sure any of that works, at least with the remote from the movie. Remember, pausing pauses everything but you, including TV, video games, and whatnot. That's why I said take a shower, then pause in my post. And rewinding just lets you see everything over again, not do it differently. Otherwise he could have just rewound and never taken the remote.
On another note, what exactly does Morty get out of giving him a happy life? That part never made sense to me.

Yeah, but I started in on rewinding just so I could through in the Prince of Persia reference. I'm watching Hidalgo and we're talking about messing with time. It just fit together in my head.

Hey dont ruin the movie for me, dangit!!
Controlling time I think is one of the strongest powers anyone could ever have. That and controlling the atomic level of elements and superspeed. Super strength, although nice to have, is overrated.

INTERNAL ARRANGEMENT OF THE ATOMS! *gasp* sorry, 8th grade "answer for the chapter" Yeah see I had this time thing all worked out. Normally, with all this pausing, you'd be aging a lot more than everyone else, correct? LIke if you pause and sleep, thats 8 hours of ageing that noone else in the world got. So I decided to change the mechanics of the pause, and make it so it stops the aging process. So theres one problem solved. You could also make it so that the pause button only pauses living things. Which could solve some problems but bring up some others. You could still use the internet for your research papers, but if you finished 3 hours later, the world will have turned and the sun will be shining differently, which may confuse some of the paused folks And scientists probably too. Yeah, I'd say time controll would be > other powers. Controlling atoms could be very destructive. Like. . . a lot. Invisibility is up there as well, though.

I agree on the time control and superspeed. As to the control of atoms... ever read Ender's Game? Remember the MD Device? Messing with atoms is bad.

They're making a live-action Ender's Game movie.

I fully expect it to suck horribly.

Well aside from the fact that messing with attoms can create instant nuclear bombs at whim, there are other useful traits as well. For example -- hungry? create food instantly. tired of walking? manipulate the air molecules and fly. And you can walk through walls by making it less dense. Just to name a few.

Controlling atoms could be very destructive. Like. . . a lot. Hey I already said this Also, I wonder, when youre messing around with the atoms as your superpower. . . would you have to be an accomplished chemist to know what your doing? As in, could you just think "okay food please" or would you have to know "okay I need some carbon atoms, and then some other. . ." etc?

That sounds like it makes sense. You dont want to accidentally make cyanide and eat it. But as long as there are atoms in the environment, this power should allow a person to make whatever they want.

There was a Marvel Super hero who had that power. I totally forget everything about him, but he did need ot know chemistry. Although his powers had a limit to them, he couldn't make a nuklear explosion for example.
Um... there was another guy too with atom powers, but they were totally diferent. Even though they said his pwoers were to manipulate atoms and such, what he actually did was different. His right hand would heal any wound it touched, and his left hand would destroy any living thing it touched (Or vice versa, I forget). If I remember rightly, that was a guy named "Desert Fox" from one of the X-Men alternate-reality spinoffs.

And you can't forget Atom Ant. I have no idea what powers he had, but my guess was he just had uber super powers that no real ant could even imagine. Sort of like Mighty Mouse.

Or like Superman, which came out in theaters by the way.
