Being accepted into a college is a life-changing event for anybody. I know that most of us here, being seniors, are going through the tedious task of applying to multiple colleges hoping that one of them will look at our transcript and say, "Hey, not bad..."
It is a strange time, and I would like to hear about everybody's college experiences.

sorry if my acceptance story is lackluster to some of you, but that really is what happened, after standing there completely silenced, I said thank you and he told me tell my mom, and later he call back...that was it. Afterwards, I told my mom, she gave me a hug, and then I went to my room, dropped on the bed and stared at the ceiling- while trying to comprehend what just happened.
as for Heather, i've heard the same as Pix

hehe, thats quite a reaction Al. As for me, if you really want the truth, i didn't really didn't get all jumpy about it. I dunno. Maybe its because i really wanted to go to the art institute instead, oh well. But hey, education is education. Maybe my attitude will change once I'm actually into the cycle of college life

Okay, now, which colleges did y'all get into? I remember Al had applied to one Art Institute or another, but I didn't know which one. As for me...well, I had originally planned to apply to New Mexico, but I've had a rethink on my career plans (aka I-don't-know-what-I'm-doing). The tentative plan as of now is to take a year off, then go to community.

I believe it was the University of N.M. that has an excellent Creative Writing program. Many famous writers have gone there, but I can't recall their names at the moment.
