You can also take AP courses( with the right grades) and not have to take them in college. That's a load off...partially at least.

Remeber, to always apply for some scholoships. Theres some for everybody out there, you just have to find one that fits you. And, if you aren't 100% white, you can practically go to collage for free these days (exageration, of course, but true nonetheless)

Scholarships are good, but like I said, I'd like to pay my own way.

Well the average is around 15 -- 25 thousand. 38 thousand? What school were you lookin at? Harvard? The Art Institutes aren't even that high, well sorta...they go up to only 30 thousand if I'm not mistaken.
But anyway you cut it, i dont think its a good idea to just pay your way through college. You dont want to graduate broke do ya? Or in debt? And aren't you the one who keeps saying you dont have any money?

I'm sorry but WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SMOKING HEATHER?
Listen to me! There are LOTS OF GREAT colleges that ARENT EVEN CLOSE to 20 thousand a year. The only reason fransis says 15 - 20 is because he is applying to ART institutes, and they all go super high.
RUTGERS IS 9,000 a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So dont give me tha! If you can pay 9,000 dollars a year to go to a shcool as high a Rutgers then there ya go.
And dont you dare say that you'd rather pay your own way thorugh college than get scholoarships, do you even know what a scholoarship is? Its not a loan, I repeat, NOT A LOAN. A scholarship is FREE MONEY that people give you for writing some essay. you NEVER HAVE TO PAY THEM BACK!
And will, party college or no party college, that dosnt raise the price. What raises the price is wheither or not its private or not. Naturally you are going to pay more for a private college, but if you live in NJ (which, incase you didnt know, you do) you have the choices of GREAT colleges and universities at reduced fees. the best colleges in the world are in our tri-state area. Even TCNJ, which is about 12,000 a year if I'm not mistaken, is a GREAT school. The campus is GEREAT too (I like it a lot) and dont tell me that it dosnt have the major you want, cause it does. And even if it dosnt, I'll tell you what to do, you go to TCNJ for the first two years, get a job while your there, and get MONEY, and then transferr to a college that you want and can now afford cause you have money.
Why do you make things so difficult? Princeton university is 28 thousand a year...do you have any more questions cause you can go ahead and ask...

*whew*
well, after talking everything over with my admissions advisor/director- we totaled everything at the Philadelphia Art Institute at the 70-80,000 for the whole 3yr. program- that is, combined with supplies, with housing, etc.

TCNJ is acctually different, you dont pay per-semester, you pay per-credit. The price vaires depending on how many credits you want to earn for that semester.
He must be taking a lot of courses, thats why his tutuion is higher.
