Not my therapist. There's a counseling program at the college itself that does all that stuff.

Yeah. The only thing scarier than a shark is a laser shark.

So I got a 2200 on the SAT. I'll be accepted into all of the colleges I applied to, of course, and will almost certainly be accepted into their respective honors programs. The real question is: What colleges will pay me to go to them, or will let me go free?
That all depends on my trumpet auditions at those schools.
Prospects:
University of Georgia (probably not going to go through with this one, because they require 4 audition pieces [7~9 pages of music] that I didn't even know about 'til two days ago)
University of South Carolina
Tennessee Technological University
Middle Tennessee State University
I'll almost certainly go to MTSU or TTU free, maybe with some payment. Good chance at USC too. UGA? Only if I go buy all four solos and work my butt off on those and my other one and make myself a trumpet god before I even go to school to do just that.

Daaaaaannnnng. Thats a sweet deal, amigo! Take full advantage!
Wait... 2200? isn't the max score of the SAT 1600? Did something change again...?

Yeah. They added a writing section to it, which includes various multiple choice questions and an essay. And since I got a perfect score on the writing, I would have had a 1400 on the old version. Which, by comparison is not as good. That would have put me somwhere in the 95th or 96th percentile, where the new one has me in the 99th. Thank goodness for essays.

Well its not directly comparable obviously because its now a different test, but that still sounds pretty awesome. I'd almost like to take the new one just to experience the difference. But hey, I'm happy with my 1300. In the scheme of things, it means about as much as this degree I'm working for.

I forget the max for the new one, but it's the one I took too. I also forget my score on it, but whatever. Dumbest thing ever though, I took the PSATs with the old version and the SATs with the new one...
