This sailing magazine my dad gets called Lattitudes & Attitudes had a very short article on the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie. I dunno how many people know this so I'll just tell it to everyone, but Johnny Depp based Jack Sparrow's craziness off of Keith Richards from the Stones. And apparently Richards is going to be in the third movie playing as Sparrow's dad. How awesome is that?  |

Yo, you see the recent South Park episode? They do a spoof of 300 as well. So dang funny. But u know the reason whey they do the slow-mo fast-forward thing is to not only be kick arse, but to also simulate the moment to moment frame format of a comic.

Oh gosh, I saw the best conversation on Shacknews the other day. Here's my rendition:
*random conversation about stuff*
*in comes the 300 spoof*
"(whatever)? This is madness!"
"This IS SPARTA!."
"Dude, the movie has been out for like 2 months, its getting old."
"Ah let him go, everybody does it once."
"Yeah but if everyone on Shacknews did it just once, it would fill a chatty."
"So you're saying. . . the posts would blot out the sun?"
"Then we will post in the shade."

Yeah... the whole 300 spoof things have been annoying me as well... I think Overcompensating is the only webcomic I read that didn't do at least two jokes about it...  |

It'll happen now just because you mentioned it.  If anything, I think Order of the Stick is the most likely to spoof it since the story is at a part where a small army is defending a city from a massive army of hobgoblins and all. Hmm.  |
