I saw Spiderman 3. I think they could have billed it as a comedy movie based on some of the parts in there. Especially the pelvic thrusts in the street.

Pirates was so, so good. I loved it so hard. I was feeling bad for Davey Jones most of the time though, I'll admit. It's just sad that a crazy cool ilithid pirate scourge of the sea was being controlled by a short man with a tall ego and a major greed problem. I didn't see Spiderman. I'll wait till it's On Demand...for free. Teehee. Walking Dead is an awesome, awesome comic. I want so much to read the rest of it.

Yeah I saw... they have a stand-up for it at Clearview when I went to see Pirates.
There is also a live action movie in the works based on "The Sims"... how can you make a movie about the sims?

Will and I finally saw Howl's Moving Castle. It was such a good movie! I'm in love with it. Best line ever: "I see no point in living if I can't be beautiful."

I really enjoyed that movie. To me, I've never seen old people rendered in such a graceful light.

I don't know what it is about him, but everytime I see one of the Studio Ghibli movies with an older person in it, the first thing I think is how well he draws them. They have all the wrinkles and often times they'll have a really big nose or some sort of strange proportion to them, but they never look ugly. I mean, even the Witch of the Waste didn't look hideous ugly after her powers were drained and she had jowls comparable to a bulldog. Speaking of which, I loved the dog in the movie. Especially since he couldn't even bark. It was so cute everytime he did his little wheeze-bark-thing. ;D And I also loved Turnip Head.

Turnip Head was my favorite character, hehehe. But when I say "rendered in a graceful light", what i mean is that he makes being in old age not seem so bad and rather peaceful.

I went to a Barenaked Ladies concert tonight! It was pretty sweet. If they're ever near you and you even sorta like the band, the show is very much worth seeing.

Downloaded Spider Man, deleted it after I watched it. I was too big a fan of Venom to really enjoy it, I guess.
Has anyone read "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson? I heard about it because of the Will Smith movie and decided to get a copy before the movie butchers it. Sounds pretty sweet, a zombieish vampire book written in the 50's, but has more to it than just "a dude surviving." (which is what I fear the movie will be)
I've also completed my re-reading of Dune through Chapterhouse in preparation for Hunters of Dune, which I'va already started. I'm a little dissappointed; some of the plot points from Frank Herbert's work appear to have been forgotten or altered, makeing the story take slightly different directions because of these slip-ups. The new authors still don't really capture the scope of Herbert's writing; he focused on almost philisophical points while the new guys, while creating decent plot, shy away from most deeper thoughts. On the other hand, this is book one of a two book wrap up of the series. I suppose it's possible that this book is a sort of placeholder, setting up for the next book more than writing a compelling story. And of course, it's Dune so I'm reading it anyways.

Just finished I Am Legend. Deservedly a sci-fi/fantasy classic, and if you like to read at all, I would definitely suggest picking it up.

I have a Barnes and Nobles giftcard (Unless it expired...) and from what I understand, its post-apocolyptic, so who knows.
