If Soul Saber came back, I'd prefer a situation that takes place like a few years after whatever it was that we were doing in the last quest. I could bring in new characters, but Tanyu would definitely stay.

I felt like making an evil character =D.
Name: Feeber Nathen Alias: Monnel Race: Human Age: 20 Eyes: Black Hair: Black Height: Small Gender: Male Profession: Unemployed Specialty: General Specialist Special Move: Beastly Rage: In a fit of rage, Feeber can unexpectedly and unwillingly turn into a raging, murderous monster with no heart and no soul. The monster is large and red, formed like the devil himself with horns on its head, metal claws and teeth, and skin like armor. The deep, red and unsympathetic eyes of the monster strike fear into many who look into them.
Weapons of Choice: - A butcher's knife - A dagger - A battlespear - Rocks
Armor and Equipment: - Brown Pants - A blue shirt - Tan, worn shoes
Bio: Monnel, or Feeber Nathen, grew up in a slum. Fever never knew what his parents did for a living. At age six, his parents were robbed, and then their limbs and heads were cut off in front of him. He became a homeless, hopeless beggar. He swore vengeance on the robbers. In his quest, his morals and his soul slowly dripped away from him. At age eleven, he slit the throat of a man he had stalked for days, and believed to be the murderer of his parents. Discovering his mistake, he began losing ethics rather than regaining them. He robbed a butcher shop for its knives at age fourteen, killing the owner with his own knife. He silently robbed a military armory for weapons soon after that, and began to kill more people he suspected killed his parents--three people were killed in the slums without so much as a word.
Though nobody truly knew who he was, the name "Monnel the Murderer" started to be used in relations to his crimes. His remorse driving him insane, Feeber started to forget his own name, calling himself Monnel, knowing himself to be a monster. Feeber left his town, eventually, telling himself he was sick and promising himself he would get better. However, one day, during a fit of rage when a food caravan merchant ripped him off, Feeber was not simply a social monster, but a physical one. He turned into a beast--a red-skinned, armored beast with knives for claws, teeth like scalpels and a thirst for flesh. Murdering the merchant brought him immense pleasure as he ate the remaining members of the caravan. Soon after slaughtering the mobile encampent, Feeber changed back into a human, even more insane.
Pros: A jerk Excellent at using his environment to his advantage. Absolutely no ethics during combat. (Or is that bad?)
Cons: A jerk. Immoral. Has an aura of dishonesty. A painful guilt that drives him insane.

K00L!!!But.. umm...I don't get the jerk thing... But then again, I have seen smarter people. Not often, but... Anyway, be your intentions truly malign, it will be a pleasure besting or being bested by you in combat, according to Sen, or as Avroz would put it, "Okay, I- I'm gonna g-go now. One second, I'll be right back...RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!" Edit:Oh, and, this is solely in my opinion, I think lack of martial ethics is a great thing, if you don't expect allies. If you want them...ehhh...not so much.

Its one of the most one dimensional characters I've seen in a while.

zoner: So, implying I'm dumb? That's not nice.
Bugs: Yep, onesided =D. Onesided characters make great villains--you can jump in and be mean and kill people, and you don't even have to explain why.

zoner: So, implying I'm dumb? That's not nice. What? He didn't imply anything of the sort. He said, in reference to himself I believe, that he'd rarely seen smarter people. Hmm. I think villains need character development, too. An entirely unsympathetic enemy is ok once in a while, but it shouldn't be a normal thing.

I'm sure you can see how it could have been interpreted as insulting me. A person usually doesn't say "I've seen smarter people" in relation to his or herself; it's usually used as a way of implying an insult. But yes, villains do need character development, however, that can vary widely from story to story, depending entirely on the environment in which the character exists.

Whoa, whoa, whoa now! I know I'm new, but give me a little credit, will you? I didn't intend for that to be interpreted as anything other than what it meant: I don't know everything. Understand, I never insult people over the internet. Over text messages, maybe, if you're mean, but never the internet. And I just told you I don't get the whole jerk thing before I said that. Being more vague in what I said may help: "I don't understand something. I'm no genius." I didn't mean for you to be offended by something that was really aimed at myself. Honest apolagies, but I'm still a little confused as to how you could be angry.

A character that is that one sided I dont think would be very fun to play as. He sounds more like a small enemy we would find in the middle of a quest and then have to stop him right there because he's too much of a threat to everyone even himself. And if you were roleplaying him, every situation he encounters would just be "KILL KILL KILL", and that includes if someone asks him where the bathroom is. And he wouldn't be able to interact with any of the other players' characters outside of a fight so therefore if you're playing him, you pretty much just get stuck in your own little world. Not much to work with. He also doesn't seem like a very creative concept at all with just turning into a red demon that resembles a devil.

Sword and Shield. Daigan Alias: Sandstorm Race: Human Age: 24 Eyes: yellow-brown Hair: ((covered in robes)) Height: 5’10 Gender: male Profession: Mercenary ((ex-bandit, instructs in stealth drills)) Specialty: Stealth Special Move: Perfect Desert Camouflage Weapons of choice: Two Scimitars, attached by the end of the handles on a two-foot chain Armor and Equipment: Sand-Colored Shirt, 2 sizes too big, tucked into a red silk belt Sand-textured Pants, 2 sizes too big, tucked into sand-toned thin leather boots Scimitars chained at handles (Twin-Souls of the thief) Sand-Textured headwrap :covers entire head, save for a slit for eyes. Bio: At birth, Daigan came from the central lands. A mutation in his genes caused his eye-color to gradually turn to the shade of the sand as his skin tone paled and yellowed. He realized at the age of sixteen that he could no longer stand the verbal slings and arrows he was to suffer from his condition and so decided he would flee to the deserts to be alone. In his wanderings one day, on his seventeenth birthday to be exact, he saw a great shadow cover the shifting sands beneath the horizon. A tribe of nomadic bandits. Seeing an opportunity to use his illness to an advantage, he dove into the sand. He heard the patter of hooves and even felt a foot against his chest. Once the sound ceased, he sprung gleefully from his hiding place. “The fools! A child has eluded their wary eyes!” He proclaimed as he spun in glee- and realized that while he gloated a great monster of a bandit stood behind him, brandishing two bastard swords on chains thicker than his arms! He knew then his fate was to be bleak. But instead of being slain by the man before him, he heard the bear’s voice shake through the dunes. “Here, my men! And bring equipment for the boy!” He put a hand to Daigan’s back. “That’s quite a skill you have boy, I wouldn’t have seen you at all!” He began. “Had you not worn this.” With a quick bandit’s hand, he tore a small piece of blue cloth from Daigas’s shirt before he noticed. “But we have camouflage to adjust that. This is an untapped skill you have, young one. You must hone it in battle. Join the bandits, and you become part of something much greater than the world you thought you knew. Do whatever you want. There are no laws when you brandish the belt.” He said smugly as he gestured towards a belt that seemed to be made of stone, centered with an opal. “Everyone is your target. Traders- whole caravans of them! And, and whole villages full of people! Targets will never become scarce. You kill, and you take. Or, you just kill. Heh, just take! Do whatever you want! The choice is yours!” And so he did, training under the leader of the pack, his finder and the one he looked to as a father, whose ‘name’ he later learnt was SunBear. He gained strength, wisdom, speed and wealth as a bandit. But he never lost his conscience. One day, as he awoke in his tent to hear the tortured shrieks of innocent people. He stormed into the main tent in a fit of rage. “You fools! It’s mid-morning! There is work to be done! Tents to take down, supplies to load onto the pack mules! Yet you torture these captives until death and move on to the next as if it’s a game! You filthy- pathetic- rrr!!!” He lunged toward one of the bandits below him- a coal-belted bandit, noone would miss him. He unsheathed two scimitars he had swiped from a barrack he had raided and rushed in, only to have one blade kicked away. He removed the head of the target in one fatal swoop, as scimitars are famed to do. He then left the group to wander on his own. Now aimless, one night he sat at a dune staring at the blades which he had now chained together to avoid losing one again. He thought of the barrack he took them from, remembering the way step by step there from his location, and now that he had free time, he thought, “This force is missing two swords, and the warrior destined to hold them.” Pros: Practically invisible in sand (Not passive ability, has to make himself like this intentionally) Immune to high temperatures Can make an ally out of some bandits Slit in headwrap over eyes focuses vision Cons: Has to remove belt for stealth Can’t stand cold Low immunities Cannot enter heavily guarded towns or outposts Takes approx. 2 minutes to ready camouflage Naturally bad vision Abilities: Cleave feat: thanks to the blades attached, one seemingly mimicking the other’s movements, Daigan can kill two adjacent foes while only holding one sword. (Swiped this from combination of D&D and two Fable skills) Wrap-Around: The Twin Souls can snare an opponent, allowing Daigan to use him/her/it as a shield but disarming him. Sand-Camo: becomes color and texture of sand, just removes belt

seeing as most of the info threads were canned recently...anyone care to recap for me real quick as to the situations of the current RP's that are going...I haven't gotten the chance to read through everything...
and i'm going to assume the worst in that Soul Saber is on permanent hiatus until we dedicate more time to it...
