Yeah, the manga and anime were super different for Fullmetal. I suppose its the same reason books to movies get changed -- somebody up high decides whats "best" for pulling in the viewing public.
Okay, thats twice just now I've tried to spell public (f, three times) with a k, as in "publick"

Ok, you can be as cool as me.
I bought Okami. I'm not very far in yet though... but so far, positive impressions, of course.

Okami is amazing on the Wii. I haven't played it on PS2, but I imagine it's much better on the Wii anyway since you actually draw with the wiimote and all.

Weee so I got my new computer. No dead parts... woot
Its pretty cool. I haven't gotten too much time to play with it but I did get two games of Company of Heroes in. I can't wait to get Paintshop moved over to this one and try using the tablet without lag...

Ew, a tablet with lag? Is that even possible?
I had an Indy Double Whopper today. It was pretty good, as far as fast food goes.

Its certainly possible in the sense, "It can exist". Possible as in, "does it work", that's up for debate...

Hey... I'm alive ...uuuuh. yeah. I can say something about Okami...from however long that was. As someone who's beaten the crap out of it on the PS2 (got the very moment it shipped into stores in Philly)...it's a hell of a game. And by my experience, better on the PS2, cuz' even though you don't actually draw; controls are far more precise...not to mention, the PS2 was capable to rendering out the special Paper filter effect that allowed the game to look like a canvas. something they were unable to reproduce on the Wii due to technical issues.... go figure. ...and now that that's done ...uuuuuuh. Hi *modified Er, okay, I owe more than that. I've been a graduate now since the end of March this year, so pretty much all of my time is spent searching for stable full-time-entry-level jobs. And honestly, that's about it. I've managed to get some free-drawing done ( paperfiasco.deviantart.com) and even have my website up ( paperfiasco.com). And other than that...i'm still me. Sarcastic as ever....still a strong fan of anime, although with very discerning taste (i'm very picky now...go figure). I have made it a mission to see Speed Racer and Indy IV (yes...Speed Racer is there and not Iron Man..why? because I have no interest in the latter honestly, plain and simple- while Speed Racer holds a dear place in my heart)....Uhh...and am still almost Console-JRPG exclusive in my gaming, with current projects being Shining Force EXA, Tales of the Abyss, as well as non-rpgs like Shinobi (PS2), SEGA Superstars Tennis, all the three original Metal Gear Solid games in the special gift set recently released. Other than that...that's it.

I agree about Okami. And I didn't know about the art filter- that's why all the screenshots in the manual don't look like the game! I was disappointed, they looked so cool...
I have to say it- very honestly, I think the wiimote sucks, as a controller. After playing as many games as I have on the wii I think I can say that now. It is simply not precise enough to provide good control for games.
You either waggle it around senselessly, with no sense of control or barely interaction (just random flailing- Twilight princess) or you have to do precise or timed movements, and wrestling with the wiimote to co-operate is more then half of the difficulty. Aiming it like a gun is also overall not very good... it feels more like a mouse then a lightgun. I am not pointing the wiimote and something, I am raising my wiimote to raise a cursor on the screen, etc...
Of the (real) games I've played with the wiimote, all of them I felt would be better with a real controller. (I don't count things like Wii Sports, Mario Party, Raving Rabbids, and other minigame stuff as "Real Games")

I think your wiimote would feel more like a gun with the zapper holder though because at least then you'd have a notch or something on it to use as an aimer. Without it, yes, you are just moving the wiimote to move a cursor to shoot something, but with it you're actually aiming and using it like a gun, so don't blame the wiimote for that complaint. Anyway, I didn't look in the manual but I also have no problems with the graphics in the Wii Okami. I've already been memorized by them and there's no way I could possibly be disappointed with them either. It's the detail to animation that I love most anyway, even though it's strange to have grass ripple out from underneath you even while in a building.
