Ah, the De Schryver inc Thread! Post and discuss any custom creations here, such as avatars and signatures. Lacking that, it can be used for general discussion. I have been wanting a new signature, but I can't get what I have in mind because I don't have a scanner. Oh well. I'm thinking about moving back to an old one for a while, and an old avatar too.

yeah, solid works is a pretty powerful tool. people modeled things like cell phones and laptops and cameras and things. if you do it right, you model can moe and function the way the actual object would, like buttons pressing and hinges folding. and if you grab it and shake it, the hinges move as they would in real life. its pretty cool. definatly a fun program to know your way around.

Hey Zoner, what the heck is in Bush's mouth in that picture? By the way, seeing an image of him makes me sick.

I guess I missed it? Also, dude. I had a stopoff flight between arizona and here. At Huston. At George W. Bush International Airport. There is a statue of him there, a statue like this one: I tried to get a picture of me next to it, but alas, I accidentally left toothpaste in my bag (that is grounds for search).

Well, duh. What the hell were you thinking, bringing such a dangerous object onto the plane? No wonder they thought you were a terrorist!

Isnt the concerne that the toothpaste bottle could really be holding chemical explosive or something of that nature? It's still pretty funny.

Yeah, i had a siggy with Castro on a t-shirt making fun of him, like the vive' le revolution! shirt, but it said "I have an artificial anus" instead. Under that I wrote, "Now what has everyone so picky about our leader?" followed by a picture of our genius president trying to eat a pinball, with "Oooh..." Under it. I could try to get it back, but it took up too much space. And I aways knew that there would be a time when you would have to smuggle toothpaste in a hollowed doll.

Yes the worry is you'll replace say shampoo with nitro glycerin, or something. But really, you could fill anything hollow with whatever you want, so I don't see what makes a shampoo or toothpaste container any more dangerous then say, a barbie doll or water bottle.
The aerosols I understand. I mean, we used to make flamethrowers out of them to kill beehives. You'd be surprised how strong some of them can be.
The toothpaste thing was actually the second time I got stopped, a few minutes before I had gotten stopped for having sunglasses in my pocket. I forgot I had them there and they set of the metal detector. It was actually the first time I had ever set off a metal detector... its too bad my first time had to be with some stranger in Houston, but, thats how those things work out I guess...
