Nobody is mean in the LotR game itself. I think everyone is just happy to be playing it. They all talk about how much they love it and help anyone who asks questions about how to do something since we're all new to it. It's really fun. So I say you can never judge a game by its forum communities.

Oh, I agree. I've seen games both ways. Its just a worrying trend, and I could see it being a problem for the game. I know there's always griefers, and there's always nice people, but some games have more of one type then the other. Like BF2 died quickly for me, there were so many jerks and teamkillers, it was impossible for me to get into a good game...
meanwhile C&C Renegade was kinda like a smaller-scale version of BF2 with less stuff, and yet it managed to be much more fun because everyone always seemed to be nice and though you'd meet an occasional nub, nobody would steal your vehicle or apologize if they did by accident, people were always willing to group up and work together ("Hey everyone, stealth tank rush!") etc.

Yeah thats true with the Renegade Thing about everyone being nice i remeber when i was playing it and you had to order vehicles i would never see anyone stealing vehicles and everyone did work together

You get both on Counter-Strike. Most public servers are full of 13 year old kids with hax or just plain whiney teamkillers/flashers (omfg I hate team flashers, they need to microwave their harddrive). If you happen to find a more private, team server, there are usually admins who moderate team killing, team stacking, vulgarisms and all that fun stuff, mainly by boots and bans.
The same can be said of Warcraft. If your just a lone guy trying to quest and find an occasional group, everyone can seem like jerks (read: Barrens chat). When you manage to find a guild or at least start building a friends list, the game's quality improves vastly.
I suppose, like anything multiplayer, you just gotta find your niche.

Love it. Did you draw that squire?

No, I found it in a google search. I can never really draw manga/anime style, except once when I drew a guy shooting fire out of his hands.
I guess I don't really draw much of anything anymore...

Nice. I think we've now officially proven that I'm the only one on this forum who can't draw.

I can't see it too well (it's really bright and hard to see), but it's very pretty. I like the tambourine chick especially.
