1. TV? I dont use it. I watch channels on my PC . Also on games, New MMORPG -OPEN- betas! I'll post the links ASAP! 2.* Oh yes, and I forgot to mention, but Demented Interactive is coming out with ULTIMATE BASEBALL ONLINE: THE MMORPG! Thats right folks, hit a ball and raise your batting stats, pitch one... Pitching stats... etc, and Hitpoints too, if you get hit by the ball, HP goes down. Headshot wins. (*Number two is NOT a joke.) (Sorry about the double post, but the Modify thing screwed up. Have the last post deleted please)

I used to have the PC/TV thing but it was kinda lost when we " upgraded" windows, along with everything else. but I didn't really like it, it skipped weirdly when you changed channels and stuff.

but it was kinda lost when we " upgraded" windows, along with everything else. hehe, ive had that problem. XP is like some kinda virus. its nearly impossible to remove it from a computer. We were trying to get 2000 on it, but XP denied us.

Hey, I've got a lot of gaming news too. Sortof.
One of the reasons I havn't been posting is becuase, as you may already know, just got a new computer. One that is game-worthy. As such, I got a lot of new games.
Halo (for PC) is simply awesome. I can easily see why there was so much hype about it. Multiplayer is very fun, 16 people, and theya ctually co-operate together, unlike other FPSs out there, where everybody is doing their own thing. In this game, everybody moves in groups, which I like a lot. Not to mention riding vehicles with other people. ;D
C&C Generals is very very good as well. It's very different from the tohers, which is something westwood isn't known for doing (they're the only company to clone their own games!!). However, it still retains that C&C feel to it- justt he right amount of change. The teams are cool, I really like all three, and they are all very unique. For example, the terrorists don't need to build powerplants, and their buildings will rebuild themselves. The american partical ray is pretty much the coolest superweapon in any RTS I've seen so far, and the chinese nuke is really well done (Its... so... big!) I also really like the level up system they use, if you get enough kills, you can choose to unlock new things, either superweapons, or new units for your team.
Rise of Nations is another really good RTS. This one is along the lines of Age of Empires or other such game, in that you rais a whole civilization, not just an army. In fact, on normal settings, you can win a game without building any army at all, although you could easily be invaded without at least defenses. Anyway, the main hook of the game is the fact that, when you start the game, all you have is guys who throw rocks and sharpened sticks. As your people get smarter, you get spears, javalens and bows (Some countries get unique stuff, like Germany dosn't build spears, but instead get 2-handed swordsmen). It progresses like that untill you invent gunpowder, cannons, and early muskets (Arquebuses). it goes on and on untill you are at present day, with F-22 fighters and Main battle tanks. They did it very well- Every major age is in there and looks very good. And, the dynamics of abttle changes VERY much as the game goes on- like, for example, in the beginging, Bows are the name of te game, and the other types of weapons are usually used to protect the bows. But with the inventions of gunpowder, everything shifts, and you have get lots of arquebuses, and pikes to protect them from calvery (which are strong against gunpowder). Bows become almost totaly obsolete. Then with the musket age, whoever has the most muskets wins, but calvery still beats muskets (but are weak to fusileers, which are short range muskets). Then with the industrial age, tanks roll on to the battlefield and own everything, and machine guns mow down infantry without any resistance, making all the battles extremly bloody (a la WWI), and the airplane makes its first aperence in the form of biplanes. Anti-tank rifles are your best bet, as long as you can protect them from the enemy's MGs. WWII age brings about better antitank troops, and greatly expands airpower with Bombers, long-range Monoplanes, and even early helicopters (which have infinate range as opposed ot normal planes). Also, Nuclear weapons come about, which can decimate cities in one shot, but launch too many and the game ends in defeat for everyone (nuclear apocolypse), giving you the ability to "Hold the world hostage". It gives a very desperate feel to the era. Then the final age dosn't add anything new, however, it improves everything to make them way more efficiant (planes can strike almost the whole map, MGs shoot faster, tanks have more armor, etc...). Plus, there are 14 different nations, and they each have more varied powers and units compared to other games of this genre. The nations are powerful at different ages, for example, Germany (my team) is strong in the begining because they get early bonuses to harvesting, and they have zwiehänders instead of spears. During the musket and WWI ages, they are pretty normal, but during WWII and present day ages they are very strong, with upgraded tanks, infantry, and MGs.
Homworld II is fun, but after I beat the campaign I mor or less stopped playing it. The universe is really my kind of thing, it kinda reminds me of dune, with a lot of middle-eastern sounding words, and again, many references to religious things (I like more cyberpunk feeling universes). The gameplay, however, is very good. You really get the feeling that you are the leader of a fleet, the captain on the bridge of a massive vessel. It keeps a bit of the traditional RTS feel to it with research and harvesting, each of which are pretty straighforward, although the basebuilding aspect is minimal (you can add-on to motherships with modules, but thats about it). The 3d feel is very good, but the maps are not nearly as vertical as the other Homworld games. The ships design is OK, but the ships aren't really too cool looking. The attention to detail, however, is amazing. The self-cast shadows are some of the best graphical touches I've ever seen, the textures are brilliant, and the ships behave like real ships (Except for fighters, which are horable, although there is a patch that changes their behavior to be more realistic). Dreadnaughts broadside their target, to bring all their guns to bear, corvettes circle the enemy capital ships to avoid fire, and frigates bahave differently depending on their weapons. Plus, seeing the phase array fire (single player campaign only) is one of the coolest weapons of all.

GTA is the single most overrated series in video game history. I'm rabidly anticipating MGS3. and metroid prime 2.
