well what else do we need before we start? every one has to post what they have and where they're starting and maybe a map would help, like what we have in GTA.
well i know where ill be, how about this is our character sheet...
Where: Brookline Laboratories (i just picked a random name, you guys can change it)
Equipment: Lab access card
my person really wouldnt start with much. shes at work, what else would she have? but access cards always come in handy in games like this ;D

I think the map idea just doesn't work. We just need the names of general locations, like the gas station, big business center, or police station, or hospital, or the mall. Ooh, I've always had a fantasy to have a zombie shoot out in a mall! hehehe ;D. But i guess we can't do that...
Aren't we starting a week after the outbreak and the place is already a mess? Oh and are we gonna use herbs? And no one ever answered my question about if anyone wanted to die and turn into a zombie or if we were gonna have to deal with getting a stupid vaccine!
Oh and I figured out what my rping style is like. My style deals more with dialogue and less on descriptions on itty bitty details like hand movements. Sorta like a script. ;D

In every RE, even the movie one of your teamates turns in to a super-monster, whom you end up fighting as a boss. Maybe not always a final boss, but a boss.

or we could get really crazy and have somebody turn into a monster, but still retain their mind, so theyre still on the side of good

Yea that is crazy... so no.  monsters were usually created through bio mutation in Umbrella labs though. Not in the field. So if we all start out as healthy humans, we can't just say, boom this bite is turning me into a monster. Oh wait, but in the movie, that scratch from the Licker started a reaction on that cop who would turn into the Nemesis. Ok, so maybe you could... But that still leaves the question "are we gonna deal with trying to get the vaccine?"  |

yeah, getting the vaccine is usually a big part of the game, it would also give us a perpose to go further wandering into the lab and the mansion, and we all know how much fun those places can be |

This recent blackout gives me a few ideas for this RE rpg. Maybe there could be an incident in the cities powerplants that would knock out the electricity of the whole city. That would cause a lot of chaos, further the difficulty of getting out of the city, and provide another reason why the people try to evacuate. It could also give us more situation in how our characters could get stuck in the city. What do you think?

i like it, with power out and almost no working vehicles we couldn't escape through a tunnel cause of not light and doors would be locked.no power= no traffic lights= accidents= more deaths.
my guy won't know the power is out because there is a small backup generator and when that goes thats when he figures out something is wrong.
