well i just wana shopot some zombies and things, i wanna play it like the game. with the low amounts of ammo and finding no working vehicles, cept for maybe one. stuff like that.

Most online RPGs take place in an already made universe. Matrix RPGs, Lord of the rings RPGs, X-men RPGs, those are very common, for example.
Anywho, I like the idea, where we have almost no ammo and few guns, and more or less no vehicles. Like, it real captures the 'survival' factor

So you guys want to be more of the innocent nobodies that get caught in the middle of this mess, therefore starting out with pretty much nothing; or the special forces that get sent in and then get caught in the middle of this mess, therefore starting out with a set amount of weapons and ammo, course it wont last since the special forces would be cut off from their supply. I'm leaning towards the nobodies scenerio i guess. Then we could be there when the whole RE thing starts. Not like how the Special forces teams would have been sent when everything has already gone to hell.  |

I'm sure you'll like how it goes. Its just pure survival. Its like the zombie thing we did in the medieval rpg but without medieval stuff.  |

i wanna be a sorta no body, definately not a specail forces guy, but amybe a soldier that was driving through town, not a special op or anything just another guy. cause i wanna have deuce and 1/2 army truck(it'll get destroyed but i wanna use oe temporarily. maybe i'll just be a guy that has a shotgun and an old army truck.

Thats not bad. As long as you dont go overboard with the weapons. So does anyone want to die and turn into a zombie? Are we gonna have to deal with getting the stupid vaccine?  |

no i won't go overboard i just wanna be a guy that has a shotgun for protection and an old army truck he got from a junkyard(a deuce and a half army cargo truck.)
maybe i'll be a shop owner or a mechanic . yeah i wanna be a mechanic that works at the local gas station.
hey maybe someone could run a pawn shop or something.

woha woah woah....
Ok, here what I'm getting. Ford, your Idea is more of a "zombies take over the world and even gas station owners have to fight for survival."
I kinda think thats a little toooo big. I'd rather stay on the level of Hive employees that get trapped during the incident, or maybe, to incorperate the gas station, it could be a breakout of the virus that envelops an entire underground city (a little futrueistic I know...) Or we are all employed by a man who ownes a gigantic building, mansion, or other building, and I could be the cook and somebody else could be a guard and someone else could be a maid (or one of the many) and then we'd have to get out.
I like small scale for Resident Evil...I mean big is good but smaller = scarier...I think.

ok, so how about a small city, or just a rich guy with a big piece of land that we all work at, like you said dan, somone could be a guard and i could be this richs guys mechanic, but either way i still wanna have my old army truck, i think a city would be better than a big house though, more people to turn into zombies.

I would say more than just a house, even if it is a big mansion. A small town right next to some lab where the virus is being examened? That way we can have some regular people, maybe a lab worker, or whatever.

Dan, what your saying is wrong. Normal people like gas station mechanics and shop owners and normal cops stuff, those are who are fighting for survival in RE. Play the games. In the movie, it's diferent. The "Hive" is not in the games.
Ok, I think my character is going to use a knife. Or some kind of blade. He'll carry a gun but not enough ammo to actually fight.
That, or my character will be a gun nut. He'll start with a normal gun, and a lot of ammo, but his house is full of guns and ammo.
