I want this to be like this:
Planning = none
that way it it truly different from the other RPG threads...no character sheets, and no planning.
I think we should all start the first post the same way, similar to the begginning of half life-
SUBJECT - GORDAN FREEMAN
and thats it.

What he means is this:
In half-life, when you start it says: SUBJECT: Gordan Freeman OCCUPATION: Scientist at black mesa reserch center
And that's about it. It didn't tell you that he reserched inter-dimensional teleportals, that he was about to encounter aliens and fight of hoards of monsters, it didn't tell you that soldiers were going to invade the base... that's all it told you. His name and job. You had to figure everything else out as you go.

i like the idea of no planning, but the thing it that were all gonna be on different tracks, but were all in the same story. say matts playing as if it were a terroeist threat and i was playing as if it escaped from a lab then out storys would add up right is all im saying.

Wow, i really like the idea that the city's only way out is through bridges or tunnels. I wonder why i didn't think about that. Kudos. And I like the Subject and Occupation idea. Simple, yet affective. I think this time I'll make my character my age and not in his 20s. He'll probably just have a bat and the clothes on his back. I think I'll use the Tanyu name again as well. Dont know about his occupation... maybe I will use that Wal-mart thing. Um, I'm a little iffy on the no planning idea. Wouldn't that create a little chaos if everyone has a different idea of whats going on? Especially since all our character will interact with each other at some point? Although i understand what Katt said, combining all our stories into one in the end, alot of stories do that. Eh, whatever... its not worth racking my brain over... Oh come on Dan... Long posts? Ok, I'll give you the benifit of the doubt this time, but remember what my article said -- "The patience of the viewer is inversely proportional to the perceived level of interaction." In other words, if it gets too tiresome or tedious or just plain "what the heck are you talkin about" I might get tempted to just skip right over it and miss any possable important info that was in it and your effort would be wasted. Just fair warning. Dont go berserk.
