No, I can't fix it. It's a Proboards thing, not a Cobra's Lair thing. I've never went in to shock, although I do have a ton of injury stories. I used to get all kinds of crazy stuff done to me... battery acid, a swarm of fire ants, ripping the skin off me knee, falling off of... just about anything, getting smashed with a baseballbat, stepping on sharp things, ripping my lip straight through... etc. None of it intentional, thankfully. And I've (thankfully) never broken, sprained, fractured, etc a bone, needed stitches, or anything like that. Infact, I only remember going to the doctor 3 times (other then imunizations)... once for a Sports physical, once becuase I was coughing up blood and we didn't know why, and once becuase had a tiny peice of glass stuck in my foot. Oops... there I go off topic again. I wonder why everyone always has so many injury stories? What is it about these things that make them so enjoyable to hear and tell?

Well, Dan, I can safely say my story was no where interesting as that. As for the reasaon everyone likes hearing/telling these stories, maybe it has something to do with ego. Like, people tell these stories to make themselves proud that they've survived it and to compare it to ordeals that others have gone through, to see who's 'manlier'.

So one day, I was walking down the hall, and this rabid axe-toting serial killer jumps out at me...

...and sings kumbaya before swinging his axe the wrong way and taking off his own arm...At which it then proceeds to yell: YOU!!! LOOKIT WHAT YOU DID!!!...It then pulled out a stitching kit and began to stitch its arm back on...but just then...
(somebody take it from there)

Some people are really crazy tho. I thought I did dumb stuff, then I heard some stories. One kid broke his ankle when he tried to skateboard -- off his roof. Yeah. And like pestering a cat untill it attacks. . .oh wait, I did that one. . .

I like the one where the hunter was going on vacation so he put his guns and bullets in his oven, and when his wife came home from a business trip she turned on the oven to cook and bullets went everywhere.

Is that a true story, or something else? Cause, that's really funny.

Yeah, palla, that's a true story. He left all his guns and bullets in the oven. So, you know, they wouldn't get cold.

Comming from the source that heard the story: Yes its true.
Thers another one about that lady who died on the roller coaster, she decided to stand up (on steel force? not sure) and then flew out of her seat and died.
apparently, after interviewing her husband (who was sitting with her...and didnt pull her back in her seat) she was found to be part of a womens roller-coaster standing society and they stand up on all of the roller coasters they go on...
...I'm surprised they are not all dead....

I'm glad you delight in that fact.
And dan, have you ever heard of a "Women's Rollercoaster Standing Society"?

...Exactly.
