I've got SO many marvel cards... pages of them. ;D Punisher does look swesome. Plus a like the guy... so morally strict.
This is the story... The man lost his entire family- Parents, wife, daughter, everything- to a mafia crime syndicate (... I think). And so he decides to take it upon himself to correct the situation. But he dosn't stop at revenge... he wants to get rid of crime completly. And so he adopts a "Shoot first, don't bother asking questions' attitude, and starts blowing away criminal after criminal.

I can't believe you didn't know that, Heather Sorry. I don't read American comics much, as you can tell by my lack of knowledge about Marvel.

this goes back to Hellboy, but what the hey-
if you look at some of the commercials for the movie- you'll see where the two stubs on his head came from- and forgot when I wrote the description: Hellboy originally had two massive horns where the two stubs are, but upon his being summoned to the mortal plane- his horns were cut off...and now they are as they seem

now that i've seen the movie and read most of the series (there are 5 that I know are out, and I've read 3 of them: 1,4,5) Hellboy is now one of my favorite heroes-and was created by Mike Mignola at least 10 years back if not further. The style his comics are in is very cool- with plenty of solid shades of primaries reds, blues, and yellows- a great deal of black and edgy lines.
Hellboy is now up there on my list fave heroes some info: -He is the key to the apocalypse (his huge stone hand), completely fire-proof, straight to the point- forget the explanation and go for the kill, has great humor, incredibly strong and uber-durable- but he still bleeds and feels pain, smokes cigars, drinks beer, worries about other guys stealing his girl (the pyrokinetic), loves cats, knows his mythology (the Hellboy is comic is laced to the brim with tons upon tons of legends and myths worldwide), and knows he can kick serious ass but still recognizes that he isn't invincible- he just lets that go, and can care less about what his true name and mission are, oh and his real name is Unung un Rama (I think, something like that- means something along the lines of the Seed of Destruction...or...yeah, something like that).
Hellboy is serialized by Dark Horse Comics by Mike Mignola, currently there are 5 books available under the Hellboy title, but Hellboy also appears in the B.P.R.D. collection series that has random tales of the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. (each book under the Hellboy series are approx-17.95, this doesn't include the B.P.R.D. collections)
go check it out if you want to see something 'different' "Hellboy, the world's greatest paranormal investigator"
...dangit...i'll need at least $90 or so to get the entire series...blast

oh yeah...here's something I neglected to mention...the Hellboy movie came out exactly on the series 10th anniversary, it debuted in comic form back in 1994. that was either really well planned...or a really cool coincidence well...now that i've seen that...the next hero movies I wanna see are: -SkyCaptain and the World of Tomorrow (that's the full title...right?)- not based off a comic book -Spider Man 2- we all know it was comic based -the Punisher- like Spidey...comic based <I really want to see this although, as of late- Hellboy will be hard to beat for me...in terms of superhero movies and Palla: no

oh yeah...sorry to double post- but I just came to the realization that I left another comic-turned-movie out of the list i've seen-
that being: the cult classic...horror goth genre The Crow (1994) In general it bases the hero off the myth that a crow transports the spirit of the dead. But...the spirit may carry with it...a great deal of pain and sorrow...Should that be, sometimes- the crow will take the spirit back- endow it with powers and let set what is wrong- right.
and for anyone who didn't know- The original Crow movie starred Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee's son...who died during the filming of it...The movie, like the comic is dark and gory, with a horror and goth feel. It was a really good movie, despite the not-so-fresh story, it was superbly filmed and captured.

"The Crow" is an awesome movie. I'd never heard before my friend Janella rented it and we watched it (from what I've heard, the other two movies in the series stink ).
