yep...every standard hero requires a lady in need...
Superman- Lois Lane Spiderman- Mary Jane Shadow- Margo Lane Rocketeer- Jenny Blake Zorro- Esperanza (later, Elena) Robin Hood- Marian and many, MANY more...
note that they don't always have to helpless, in a lot cases- they hit back HARD
I actually liked the Hulk a lot -but I like the classics best ie: Rocketeer, Zorro, Shadow, Dick Tracy, and Phantom (although his movie wasn't particularly great) and of course- the original bandit- Robin Hood

ahem... Jennifer Garner played Electra, and she was not a damsel in distress. She could hold her own and was able to kick the DareDevil's ass, though mostly since he wouldn't fight her since he loved her. But that makes her all the more hot . two words - bladed si's (sp)

Ok, just to let you guys know, about darkwing, his phrase was "Who, what where, why, when, and sometimes how!" (becuase he was a reporter...) and his big sidekick was Launchpad McQuack, from Duck tales.
Now, as for the recent superhero movies, I havn't seen a single one yet. Daredevil, Hulk, spiderman... I have seen X-men, though. Both of them.

Of the latest superhero movies, I have only seen 3: -The Hulk- loved it! I personally thought that the amount of action vs. dialogue/mind games was good. Although not exactly a direct comic book transfer- it was still enjoyable to me- like a great comic book episode put on screen. And when the action finally did heat, it blossomed like a well cared flower. -Spiderman- great comic book-to-movie transfer. I enjoyed the entire experience...except for one major change: his web slingers. Originally, he showed his scientific talent by creating a super strong webbing that would be comparable to that of a spider's (on a human scale though), as well as the Green Goblin's suit turning metallic. Other than that...I enjoyed it quite a bit. -X Men- Okay, something about this one didn't draw me in like Spiderman and the Hulk. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad or anything...the best way I can put it is that I liked it and didn't at the same time. hero/superhero movies I have seen all together- Batman (all of them- first two were the best) Superman (all of them- enjoyed each one) Zorro (the latest, none of the older movies ) Robin Hood (seen two...out of a slew of different ones) Captain America (pretty cool) The Rocketeer (favorite!) The Shadow (awesome classic) The Phantom (it could've been sooo much better) The Hulk (very cool) The Spiderman (not bad, not bad at all) X Men (dunno...hmm) He Man (ugh...that one...) ...and that's all I can remember for the time being...

I heard the hulk was crap by most who saw it, but I cant judge cause I didnt see it becuse of what everybody said about it.
(lol thats like...contradicting what I said in the same sentence...lol)
I thought spiderman was great -- throughly enjoyed it and cant wait for the next one.
X-Men was aweome -- just awesome. If I remember rightly we all went to see that together and got little pins for opening night? yeah I loved it -- first and second.
zoro was a really good movie - lot of family fun there....is he a marval hero?
as far as other marvel comics go..cant really say much...ask will or cass, they start talking about some marval hero and I have no clue what on earth they are talking about -- then they make fun of me for it. haha.

everyone in hollywood is a vegeterian. Or balemic (however you spell that). Or they take diet pills (which are a combination of Laxitives and speed... Yum!).

thats nasty...
just eat when your hungy and dont ever deny your hunger -- but eat healthy when you are hungry and you'll be fine.
and dont make up excuses to eat food, like "oh I'm so upset, so I'm allowed to eat" or "nobodys home to the calories dont exist..." or "soda is good for you!" or "diet soda is better for you than regular!" (which is a total and comlete lie on all accounts)

Why do you think one by one diet pills are becoming illegal, one by one. They are illeagal drugs (speed...) mixed with laxatives... the speed boosts your metabolism, and the laxitives empty you out. This lowers your weight... although not in a very healthy way, needless to say.
That's why every diet pill says "This product has not been evaluated by the FDA" on the bottle. Everyone that HAS been evaluated by the FDA is illegal now. One by one... but they just keep popping up under different names.
In short, don't do diet pills, kids!
And dan, That's my favorite diet, and that's what I do. And look at me, I'm healthy!! Yeah!! ;D

I've been getting out of the house more lately (as I'm sure we all are) and thats dangerous for me, mostly because there is NO junk in my house, and when I get out to driving with friends and such, fast food is usually the way we go (although I always get chicken, the soda and sometimes fries dont help at all).
I'm going on a diet to loose 10 pounds, thats my goal.
