I just had a great idea... Now that its summer, I can get back to FF Tactics!!! (  ) Ah who my kidding... as long as I'm under my mother's roof, I'll never have free time... I always love having allies in my fps's. Thats why I love Call of Duty. I just love scenes where huge armies or groups just go cut-throught on each other! |

I've played a few Final Fantasies, but not very far into any of them. I've only beaten the original, unless you count Kingdon Hearts.

I play Tactics Advanced personally. Other than that, I've played 7 and a bit of 8...and an even smaller bit of 6...and a few crappy FF games for GameBoy.  |

I've played... All of them. And in my opinion, Tactics Advanced, though not bad, was a very poor attempt at a sequel. The system is much less sensible, and all the different races mess it up for me. I admit, it had to be done on GBA instead of Playstation. But I grew tired of it quickly.
Among the others, I think 9 is my favorite. 7 next. 8 never impressed me much. And the rest I just couldn't get into, though I still have them.

Also, I never played FFTA for Playstation, but the one for GBA sucked \-: I had just finished playing Fire Emblem and Advance Wars 2, And FFTA was just . . . *shudder*

Me? Goth Skin? Where have you been the past five years?
It might be a display error. I'm sure there's no Black text over black backround on the whole board. If you don't like the layout (some people complain about the blue-on-blue, usually because their monitor's gamma is off) there is a second, blue-on-grey skin, you can set in your "Profile" tab. It uses many stock images but accomplishes its job- let's people read the baord who have display issues.
As for the thread being 3 pages, check some of the others. Most are over 70 pages. Think that's bad, check the archives.
Starcraft is OK. I found Melee to be rather boring, online or off... But the campaigns and UMS will last forever in my heart. Still, The RTS for me was C&C. And I played Dune II as well, Tass, and I Am playing DOOM right now (DOOM95), but yes, I played it back when it was shareware (Though we ended up buying the full version, so I got to play Shores of Hell and Inforno as well. Whee.)
Ok! Now I'm caught up with the conversation. I have been gone for a few days.

Nah, I realized what the problem was. I've had my settings (personal in nature) set in such a way that text automatically shows up on a black BG, so black text is untypable, but not unreadable. There's something redundant in there, but I don't feel like fixing it.

I beat DOOM RPG on my cell phone. You're all probably laughing at that one, but it's such a damn good game. Will wishes he could download it onto his computer from somewhere so he could check it out. Just imagine normal DOOM, but with strength and defense bonuses every now and then. It gets really crazy. ;D

Ever get the mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 called UTRPG? It sounds like the same idea, whenever you kill someone or complete an objective, you get a certian amount of experience. You level and put points into max damage, health, speed, weapong speed, etc. Its cool untill you outlevel all the bots. Then you might as well put on godmode and call it a day. . .
