((ooc: No wait, his character might actually be interesting in this rpg. Like, he'd be a really great fighter and can hold his own in a bug fight, but he has absolutely no idea of technology. He'd get messed up and confused, but when you get right down to it, he's just there to bust some skulls. That sounds awesome! And dont steal my word awesome!!!))

((there's been a sudden change. Dan says He dosn't want to do this RPG anymore, for a good reason, but I'd rather not share it here. He's given control of Kal to me, or anyone else who wants it.
Which is cool, 'cuase Kal has always been more of a GM character.))

((ooc: Why doesn't the bahstid come online and tell us what this "reason" is. If i can make time to come online, than so can he. I mean seriously, he's the one who warped my original somewhat simple idea of the bug hunting rpg in the first place.
And i guess that voice in my head is tellin me that we should start using the discussion thread again. It was i guess the crappily named Bugs Itch 2: Continued thread. He really didn't tell me anything but i could tell he was gonna. He also gives me ice cream on the weekends. Mmm, mmm, ice-cream ;D))

((ooc: wow, now that i read back on the pages, there were a lot of ooc posts here...))
*So BugHunter has amassed an attack group of 12 strong ships, including his own. They undock from the Starport Pub 11 and begin getting into formation. Top-Knot activates a dial-up portal with the coordinates of the Draconis Sector and they go through*
Top-Knot: "Hmm, the Draconis Sector...its been awhile"
BugHunter: (remember, they're in different ships) "Light-Stepper, report, where are we?"
Light-Stepper: "We are on the outskirts of the Draconis Sector. Only small solar systems inhabit this region"
BugHunter: "Anything on the scanners?"
Light-Stepper: "A couple of planets, a bunch of moons, a few asteroid belts here and there, nothing unusual. We should be out of any danger for now considering we're on the outer edge of our supposed enemies' borders... wait a minute, I'm recieving a distress call from one of the nearby systems. A planet is currently being attacked and overrun by bugs. The local militia is trying their best but their efforts are failing. They're also saying something about being attacked by their own ships and defense systems..."
BugHunter: "What? They've spread this far already? And their infestation abilities must be getting more advanced. Alright...looks like we're gonna have to help them out. They'll be our first kills of the day. *addresses the other ships* "All ships, a nearby planet is currently under attack. We're sending you their coordinates. We're moving out!"
*The other ships acknowledge in unison and start heading toward their destination*

*Meanwhile, the bugs continue to infest the planet with very little resistance from the local militia. The local militia, in fact, is now part of the Infested Empire*
Tassatul: "Surface conditions, report"
*One of the infested psionics reports over the vidlink* "This is Alpha Brood. Little resistance, the population has given up to their fates. Perha-"
*The screen's backround blares white, then changes to static*
Tassatul: "What just happened!?"
*A few seconds pass, then a worried infestee walks up to Tassatul*
"Sir. . . Alpha Brood has been wiped out. Evidence suggests nucleonics, some type of booby trap"
"THE FOOLS!"
*In a fit of rage, Tassatul activates a warp blade and swiftly decapitates the infestee. The body slumps to the ground. Tassatul's eyes glow a deep red, full of anger*
"Someone clean this mess up. . ."

((Ok, here's what I'm thinking, and sorry for the OOC- Evil CObra is with Tassatul- after all, he wants to be where the bugs are making the most 'news'. At the first sign of his twin, or any of the other heroes... he will move in. If for whatever reason, this is against what anyone had planned, let me know.
good cobra will join the fight when Bughunter starts battling. So that's how they meet.))
*Cobra looked on as Tassatul executed the unfortunate messenger. But such was the loyalty of the swarm- if Tassatul commanded Cobra to kill himself, he would. Without hesitation.*
*Waiting for Tassatul to calm a bit, Cobra approches him* "Have there been any signs of the Hunters? Or, more importantly... of my twin? Any warriors that actually put up a chalenge to the forces down there would likely be a clue..."

Tassatul: "None so far, Cobra. Nothing on this planet but rabble. The resistance is all but gone, all the time that is left will be devoted to the process of infesting the population"
*Tassatul paused*
"Hopefully, the Hunters will arrive soon, as they must. We'll be ready for them, Jalathas' forces will be our crushing blow. And I expect, where the Hunters show up, so will your other half"

*BugHunter's ships are getting closer. Dead ahead of them is the almost dead planet. Fire-works and explosions from whats left of the fighting can be seen from their distance*
Light-Stepper: (flipping switches and whatnot) "Increasing to attack speed... weapons armed and ready..."
BugHunter: "Alright, all ships lock and load!"
*The com-link becomes cluttered with the gleefull comments from the other ships. BugHunter has taken a seat at one of the guns. They're just about to reach the closest group of bugs*
BugHunter: "Wait on my command..! Wait for it.... wait for it....... LETS ROCK AND ROLL!!!!"
Young-Tusk: (on another ship, called the Stinger, but also at a gunner's position. He can be heard on the com-link) "YEEEHAAAAA!!!!!"
*All the guns on all 12 ships let loose as the com-link gets filled with other "YEAH"s and "YAHOO"s. They're really lettin it rip and are giving the bugs hell! Being on the other side of their first strike while in formation is like being under a thick shower of lazers, bullets, missiles, and energy pulsars. And they had the element of surprize, the bugs didn't even see it coming. They're just flying into the heart of the swarm, blastin away. To those who dont know them better would think they're committing suicide doing that, but not these hombres. Recklessly flying into the heart of the swarm just allows them to get their job done quicker. Once they're in the thick of the group of bugs they split up and start reaking havoc in different directions. Each ship with all guns and missile pods in use look like streaming clouds of death. Each one is shooting in all directions, missile volleys everywhere, not letting a single flying bug get close. They're barely getting any damage at all. Only getting hit here and there when infested militia fighters fly in. These ships aren't even considered fast but look at 'em go! Zooming in and out, being really thorough. Explosions and bug parts everywhere!!! Its such a kick ass sight, i wish i could animate it or draw it even! Go hunters go! And this is only the first area! Wahahaha!!! This fight shouldn't take long to finish.*

(("Bugshunting Illistrated"... or, "The Art of Bugshunting"... I wouldn't mind seeing that )) "Hmmm... the hunters. I do hope they show up as well, for many reasons. They will be a true challenge... and I am also eager to see this new... 'Jalathas' in action. We will show them how pathetic it is to try and control and controt the infestation processes to their needs. ...And of course... my brother... I just don't know how much longer a can wait..." *A dim, soft alarm-like noise sounds and a small messenger bug scuttles up to Tassatul of the Hunter's sudden attack, totally ignoring Cobra's presence*"Perhaps I will not have to wait as long as I though" *He says quietly, to himself.*((1- Jalathas is the attempted experiment to artifically infect a human, who escaped and joined the bugs, right? 2- of course, just let me know andf I'll change anything, like for example if Tass didn't want to know about the attack yet...))

((1-yup last i checked, Jalathas is the experiment gone wrong. 2- nope no problems here))
*Tassatul picks up the bugs expecting a report on the infestation on the planet's surface. Instead, he recieves devatating news. The deck attendants can sence the anger rising within him*
"The Swarm is under attack. Apparently, the Hunters have arrived"
Tass, to underling: "Mobilize all forces. We need to distract them long enough to let Jalathas do his work"
